Default Fantasy Football Question For Tonight

I need to decide on a #2 RB for playoffs week 1:

DeAngelo Williams vs. Minnesota (guy I'm playing is also starting Vikings D)

    or

Pierre Thomas vs. Dallas (I am also starting Marques Colston tonight)

I would go with DeAngelo Williams. DeAngelo is the better back and he will probrably get more touches. DeAngelo is the focal point to Carolina's offense. Drew Brees is the focal point for the Saints offense. Pierre Thomas has to share the ball with Reggie Bush. I know Minnesota has a good run D, but I would still go with DeAngelo. One lesson I learned in Fantasy football is to play your best players regardless of the D they're facing. Minnesota has a good run defense, but Carolina's running game is good also. Play your best players!

    P. Thomas is the play, D Williams will not do anything against the Minn Def. Lets think out loud for a second, with mat moore as qb Min will be keying in on stopping the Williams/Stewart rb's. now give min a 17 pt advantage and now Carolina will need to turn to the air more than the ground. Let look at at P. Thomas now, for as many touches that Bush gets thomas still produces and puts up better numbers all year with and without bush in the line up. The dallas Def is suspect tonight withour D. Ware in the line up START PIERRE

Man I really want to start Williams...I need to decide.

Worried about Bell coming back too...think he might steal even more carries.

Your points on DA and the Vikes are good ones though.

aw damn ware is playing? now that saints -7.5 doesnt look as good...this ones a real tough call i have PT also but you just never know with that trio of bell and bush added...d will is nasty but vikings run d is unreal...id say you might wanna roll with williams though because the double whammy is him having the vikings d and hopefully you get mad points and he'll lose points

That's what I thought too but Alpha has me convinced otherwise. May go back to Williams now. This sucks. At least I have Schaub and Johnson going tomorrow vs. the Rams.

Yeah, it didn't work out too well, but Thomas did manage 7 points anyway. I'm only down 21-15 going into tomorrow and he had Romo and Roy Williams going tonight.

    Why did I start Folk???

My other option was Gould. I've started him every week, but given the the fact that, at game time, the Bears hadn't even taken off from Chicago and the weather in Baltimore is going to suck tomorrow, I figured I was screwed either way. Plus, the other concern was that the game might be postponed. If it moves beyond Monday, I get nothing for the position.

Folk kicking in a DOME. Was he trying to hit the upright?

I don't know, but that guy will be run out of town.

No doubt. I was really screwed either way. It's really the problem with having game staggered between days. Nothing you can do about it, but it suck sometimes.

But before he missed the chippy, I looked OK. After, not so much.
