Based on what past performance makes you think the Cowboys are capable of doing this? They were in a must win last week against SD at home and couldn't do it. Now they go into NO at night in Prime Time and beat the Saints? I don't think so..

Cowboys have less than a 25% chance on winning this game for sure.

Betting against the Saints while they are at home against a conference opponent. Dude, at least take the spread.

I think it might hit. ATL almost won with a backup qb but they were at home against no. gl I took the points +7.5

I like the bet. What is confusing me is how everybody seems to be all over the Steelers this week. A team that is 0-5, clearly headed in the wrong direction and up against a team that is hotter than any other in football. But the steelers are favored.

Then you have the Cowboys against NO. The Cowboys are an 8-5 team, and a game or two away from getting a spot in the playoffs with the Giants right on their heals. Wade Phillips' job is on the line, and every single Cowboy player's reputation is on the line if they can't win a December game.

I think the chances of the Cowboys upsetting the Saints is much more likely (at +300) than the Steelers upsetting the Packers (at -110).

The Cowboys are an 8-5 team... however one that is definitely not as good as their record indicates in case you haven't noticed all season long. Their "impressive" wins (hurts to even say that...) have been over teams that won't even sniff the playoffs. Their last notable win was over the Raiders on Thanksgiving, won 7-6 to Redskins at home (4th quarter TD at that...), and one before that was over the Seahawks. This Dallas team is BAD, it's amazing people still don't see that. Cowboys don't play with a spark like some of the top teams have, now you're talking about them playing for their "reputation" (what reputation???) or Wade? cmon man!

And "Cowboys upsetting Saints more "likely" than Steelers "upsetting" Packers?!?!" I think that sums up everything... duh cmon man!

I gotta agree with Regretz on this one. I think the only reason Dallas is still being considered is because they are "America's Team". Well, I am a proud Canadian, and I can see through it. Its the same with those friggin' NY Yankees.

    Balls.

Yea, I may have gone a little overboard with that statement. It was more a statement about how I just don't see the Steelers having that great of a chance of turning their season around against the Packers this week.

And I agree that the Cowboys have been terrible this year. The Redskins game really summed it up pretty well. However, they did play a really good Chargers team to a 3 point game. I'm not going to play any money on the this NOvDAL game. I've been thinking about NO -8, but I'm just not confident enough that Dallas is going to lay over and die.

Good luck to anyone laying money down on this game. I just don't think it's going to be as predictable as a lot of people are making it out to be.

If the game was in Dallas i would agree but at the Dome i dont think Dallas stands a chance! The Saints have helped me win tons of money all year my rule has been simple at home take them and away games fade them!!!

This bet is based purely on luck. If it any capping was involved people would see these numbers:
Dal 0-5 SU and ATS in last 5 games against N.O.
N.O. is 8-3 ATS in last 11 home games.
The total has gone under 5 out of last 6 games when Dallas is at N.O.
People....if these type of numbers were meaningless we wouldn't use them we'd bet out of gut instinct and pray for luck.
IMO...New Orleans 30 Dallas 17. Goodluck to all.

they dont think teams are gonna bring it the whole way, all the pressure on new orleans this game is far from over but undefeated is very tough and new orleans has been shakier of late and normally you dont win them all.Like i said far from over but good luck

no way the saints will lose ever no possible way on this earth, people that say this stuff just have no clue. this is the main reason there are winners and there are losers in this game and i love it. we need more people like this so the lines get better for those who ignore all the noise and look at things with perspective. great call!
