    Default Anyone else think the Bengals collapse the last 3 games??

    I think this team is ripe for a huge crash. Aside from the getting trounced last week, they now have to deal with the distraction of a teamate passing away. And let's face it they haven't been playing good football of late.

    @SD
    KC
    @NY Jets

    They will go 0-3 and Baltimore, who sits at 7-6, will run the talbe with their remaing three games and win the AFC Central.

    I had them covering the TD against SD. Got it earlier, but took some off at -6.5 because of the Henry situation.

    You never know how a team responds to a death. They may pack it in or use it as motivation this Sunday. But they're not going to collapse for the rest of the season. That's not what they worked for all year.

    This team seems like they are going to unite and dedicate the rest of the season to winning, they did this earlier in the season they started to platy tuff and really became a challange.

    They are terrible on offense, I think Palmer's arm crumbled a while ago.

    They'll be fine. Decent playoff team but not a contender.

    if history repeats itself like with the redskins, they'll lose this week and win out the reg season

    tough to say how any team and more importantly individuals will respond... all it takes is for one d-back who was especially close to Henry... to be in a complete funk come game time... gets beat for two quick TD's and that's that.

    Uconn had a player murdered this football season and they dropped 3 straight heart breakers....

    another thing to consider is former teamates of Henry at WVU, that were close to him playing on OTHER teams.... college players are prob way way closer to each other than pros

    watch out for the Colts Punter to be shanking balls left and right tonight....

    Steve Slaton might have been tight with him, did their wvu careers overlap?

    I think they go 2-1 at the worst...maybe even 3-0.

    Nah. It would effect them more emotionally if Chris Henry was still active. Washington played inspire after Sean Taylor death, the same will happen here.

    First of all if they needed something like this to pump them up they should lose out right

    i'm telling ya the colts punter is from wvu, only a few hrs to absorb this news..... he will get 3 blocked tonight, kick 2 out of bounds for 11 net yards and kick one over his head....

    j/k I don't think they played together

    Palmer seems like no threat anymore, they run a lot and get 3 yrds per play a lot.

    They are a good team to go against.

    I would not touch these games cause of Henry. You just never know.

    i was loving cincy when the line came out and planned on waiting for 7 before taking it. even considered the ML. sd still can't stop the run and still can't run the ball. bengals are a very physical football team this season.

    as for losing out? hell no. maybe if they weren't trying to win a div title. KC is fukking terrible. nice work taking Cassel for $41 mil in 3 years. that should work out to about $3 mil per win for those three years.

    and they have the defense to limit the Jets rush game and confuse Dirty Sanchez. 2-1 finish if not 3-0.

    also have a D and a rush game that can win some playoff games.

    Dunno. If they come out and kick ass this week then watch out. Could make a run.

    0-1 with two remaining. I don't think they'll take the Chiefs seriously this week. With the Henry funeral yesterday, practicing today and so forth, they could be ripe for an outright loss b/c KC can score.

    KC sucks, but Cassell played well last week for once... I will take the 14.5 points that 5Dimes is offering and roll with the Chiefs. The Bengals will probably win, but their collective mindset doesn't make me confident they can roll over anybody right now.

    I just can't see them losing SU to the Chiefs. Anything can happen in the NFL, but it's just not very likely that the Bengals will lose this one. Now, the Bengals spread is a little high in my opinion, so if I were to bet this game, I would go with the Chiefs ATS. I think the Chiefs can keep it within 10 points.

    The Chiefs just gave up 300 rushing yards to James Harrison and the Browns.
