Way too high? Colts won by 2 points in week 1 and Jacksonville always plays us tough....not to mention the short week and Colts possibly resting players! I say Colts 7.5 or 8 at most!

Looks like Colts by 6' seems a little low I think they go for the record 16-0....19-0

Where did you see this at or is it an assumption? Both Bookmaker and Bodog are showing blanks. I would take the Colts at -6 but not -12.

Matchbook is at -4 (-140)! I knew any guesses of 10 or more would be ridiculous! I think anything less than a TD is a pretty nice value....but Freeney/Mathis are banged up...hard to say how many Colts will sit Thursday at this point?

Jacksonville is still in the hunt for a wild card spot. The game went from an opener of Indy -6.5 to Jacksonville -2 before it was taken off the board in Vegas. The huge question is if Indy plays it's starters or not. The rumors have been runnng rampant. This may be a gametime decision. This is a very dangerous game to wager on. What happens if Indy announces that they will play their starters, but then pulls them out after one half? Will they put their starters in if they fallehind, but pull them if they are ahead? There are way too many intangables to play this game.

    Good thread.

Bill Polian has stated that the Colts will try to be healthy for the playoffs.

Read between the lines, yes the starters will be rested. Peyton will probably play the first quarter.

Having said that, even if the starters played the entire game, laying 14 points in a divisional road game is way too much. I would expect the line to be Indy -6.5 or -7 with starters. If the starters do not play, I would expect Indy -3.

This is not a good game to wager on.

line will be around 7 points. its the golden rule dont go against manning ever. you think they dont need the game well manning is too good to just lay doen for this one. take colts if 7 or less!

The Jags damn sure do have a chance. M.J.D has got to run, run, run and run a little more to control the clock. This is their superbowl! They are hanging on to the last wild card and their are 3 teams nipping at their tails. I dont know if they can win in the end but I think they keep it close.

According to Indy's Website and coaches press conference this morning, Peyton and all the starters WANT to play and coach is gonna let them. Colts also registered 12 plays on the injury list this week. Including Peyton, Reggie, Clark but most set to play.

Listened to the Bill Polian radio show last night here in Indy and he said the healthy starters will play! Coming off a short week...they may sit Freeney or some of the guys that are nicked up but these players want to be a part of history! Somebody wins the SB every year but a shot at 19-0 is something different and Polian/Caldwell know it too! Jax always plays the Colts hard but I think the Colts get this one by atleast a TD! The Colts D is 2nd in the NFL in points allowed and 17th vs the run (fantastic for the Colts) with much better DT play this year! Colts have won 3 of 4 in Jax (all by 7+) so I would feel pretty good laying 6 or less here!
