Browns look somewhat decent last week against San Diego, and Pitt has there backs against the wall, in desperation mode, against a Rivalry team.

They WILL be ready for this game.

ive been saying this shit all day! people are saying its gonna be cold...big deal, pitt and clevland are both cold cities - so the players are used to it being cold. also, snow - a little or a lot - doesn't always mean no scoring.

and last, most of the time, when you see low totals like this, the game ends up going WAAAAYYYY over. the public falls for the weather reprts and sees a low total and decides it HAS to go under.

troy is out, and cleveland had no trouble putting points up against the chargers sunday, and i see no reason why pitt cant score on a crap-tastic cleveland defense.

i'm not on the under but i disagree. snow/rain would not mean as much to me. defenders have a harder time adjusting to the routes being run in the rain. wind is the big factor here - with heavy winds you can bet that the ground game will be a bigger factor.

i wouldnt be surprised to see a 27-10 final, but im thinking more like 21-3.

dex, everyones argument on the winds has been that they will be blowing over 40 mph's. i think its much lower, more like paris hilton on a home video (20-25 mphs) big difference.

and i doubt pitt would hold cleveland to 3. especially without troy playing.

I agree for the most part..If Pitt is winning by a couple of scores though - say 14-3 - they may be quick to shorten the game and just get out of there with a win...And Not all Cold weather games are created equal as you know... -5 is a lot different than 22 degrees.

not all cold games are created equal, correct....when a dome team is playing in the cold its not even fair.

teams in colder climates arent really affected by the cold as the warmer climate teams/dome teams are.

do your homework...check out patriots record in in the snow at home - just 1 example.

thing with tonights game, both teams are outside teams, from cold weather climates. Pitt and Cleveland are two of the coldest cities in the NFL. so you telling me the cold will affect how they play? really?

Exactly what i wanted to see. Cleveland score early make it a game, and have Pitt have to throw to win. Rather then have Pitt be settling on a lead, running the ball and the clock.
