Default Weather a factor in Pittsburgh/Cleveland Game

    http://www.accuweather.com/forecast-...ur=16&hbhday=3

If the weather forecast is right, not too many points will be scored in this game. This is likely to be under and Cleveland likely covers

Big Ben is supposed to play but total down to 34 even though the value is gone this probably still goes under.

pit unders late last year and now the last 2 weeks have burnt me. last weeks was painful to say the least hell what was the score going to the 4th? 13-6 or somewhere along those lines then bam pit 4th qrtr defensive problems show there ugly head so if pit jumps out to a lead which wouldnt surprise me at all your going to be sweating that 4th hoping there d doesnt let up like sd did last week..just my humble opinion. if you thought the thur night gms have been trash up to this point it just keeps getting worse

weather is somewhat of a factor, but c'mon this is football....unless it gets like the infamous Ravens/Steelers 3-0 game.... I think 34 is too low

Ditto. These offenses have plenty to show. And Ben is a solid cold weather QB. This goes over by a TD at least.

There is no snow in the forecast, so what's the big whoop?

I stand corrected, it looks like there could be snow after all. I still think this goes over, but it looks worse than I thought before. But I like the Browns +10 even more than I did before.

I kind of like the Browns also. Pittsburgh did not cover or even win the game the last two weeks against terrible teams what makes you think they are going to cover this game also.

Winds over 30+ miles per hour are being predicted. Not much throwing will happen. Look at the totals in the link below for games that have 30+ mph winds:

I'm looking for the opposite to happen in this game. The field should be ready to play on come game time but as it snows it'll get worse towards the end of the game. Once a lead is established in the first half...the second half will be a pure snooze fest. I'm on the 1st half over 17.

just checked the weather forecast for the game winds 35mph in the 20s and a 60% chance of snow its going to be a ruuning game

Extremely windy around here, tomorrow gusts 60+ MPH. However whether or not there will be precipitation seems to change every time I watch the news. Here's our local news links, might work better than just weather.com and the like. GL guys.

i still like the over.. windy or not Pitt gets their crap together it may not go over by much but it will go over

Guys it isn't the snow that matters as much as the wind... we've seen plenty of teams put up big point totals in snow before. The wind is what really disrupts offenses.

The wind is a bigger factor than the snow, and since I am in the Philly area, we have been getting the same weather more or less. I can tell you that the snow that has been falling the last week or so is a heavy wet snow that is not as slick as the dryer variety ( a good packing snow for you southerners). This means no problems until it starts to pile up more than 4 inches on the natural field in Cleveland. Still, I will wait until just before game time to make my final assessment, it will either be the over or nothing. Also, the number will probably be bet down hard all day tommorrow so I may be able to pick it up as low as 30 somewhere.

I mean with the winds blowing like they are, and they'll be cross winds according to weather.com, you can pretty much bank on no field goals over 35 yards or so. also, throwing the ball is going to be a nightmare, i've played football with friends in conditions less windy than it will be tomorrow and it's been tough. the teams will know this and load up the box to stop the run, i can easily see cleveland getting blanked and the steelers being low teens. the spread will be close, the total will be under by over a touchdown i bet

Just WIND baby. The more it blows the more I love the under. 39 mph expect at kick-off. I locked it in at 34.

The O/U is 33. How can you not like this?

Gotta like the Steelers in smash mouth running/defense oriented conditions.

Maybe I'll try for the middle: Cleveland +10, Pitts ML.
