Default Fade teams who play the SB champs the previous week

Read a thread on here a while back about teams play crappier the week after they play the SB champs. I've followed this trend the last few weeks...

KC beat pitt straight up then got smoked by SD the next week
CIN beat pitt straight up then lost straight up to OAK
Den played pitt then lost straight up to WAS
Min lost to pitt, but DID win ATS and s/u the next week
Cleveland and Detroit both got destroyed the next week
SD was on a bye the next week
Cincy barely snuck by Cleveland (lost ats) the next week the 1st time.

So this "system" went 6-1 ATS if you faded the team who played PITT the previous week. (didnt include SD)

    Thoughts?

So you are saying to take GBay

    Also the first three weeks

    Tenn lost to Hous
    Chic beat Seattle
    Cinc lost ats to cleve

    2-1, overall 8-2

And SD lost after their bye week to Denver

9-2 and Balti plays tonight, will it be 10-2

Good luck I have G Bay anyway

I wouldn't doubt the Skins beat Oakland next week - The line is +1. I would rather not watch that trainwreck of a game. But GL!

if i may weigh in on this one. it is not unique to SB Champs, as it is a good idea to fade any team after they play the Steelers. hope you guys are sitting down for this one. i got my name by tracking stupid stuff like this...

Since Tomlin became HC, teams the week after playing the Steelers are:

    9 - 32 ATS

so seems you have a double system working this year since not only are they SB Champs, but Tomlin's boys seem to really take it out of teams.

i'll try to find my SU numbers, but it is also well below .500

the following numbers are for news and entertainment only:

Since Tomlin became HC, teams the following week:

    AS FAVS:
    11-12 SU
    5-18 ATS

    AS DOGS:
    4-14 SU
    4-14 ATS

so 15-26 SU and 9-32 ATS

torn on the game this week though as Skins fit a negative system i employ as well.

Oakland has a history of winning and then getting smacked down the next week.

Week 2: 13-10 win vs kc
Week 3: 3-23 loss vs denver

Week 5: 13-9 win vs philly
Week 6: 0-38 loss vs jets

Week 11: 20-17 win vs cincy
    Week 12: 7 - 24 loss vs dallas

Although, denver,ny jets, and dallas are probably way better than the redskins...

Chiefs blew it this past week, against the BROWNS of all teams.
Oh well, can't expect a true 100% system in the national FIXED league.

So, this week is taking the Seahawks +14, sounds good. I was making that play anyway.
