NFL def wants Broncos to beat the Colts putting it week 1 to make sure Broncos are healthy and the Colts under Luck aren't the greatest starters in week 1... guess we aren't allowed to beat Peyton back to back years

Bye week before playing Patriots at home... NFL wants to help us beat the Patsies too

You want the NFL to give you an easier team in week 1 cuz y'all are slow starters? You want the NFL to have 'em tackle you nice and gentle too? Maybe some 2 hand touch?

I'm sure. It's a way to max out ratings. If you have two great AFC games going on at the same time and you can make them both national TV games, why not flex?

I can't state the facts that the Broncos will (should) be at full strength week 1 and that Luck and the Colts lost to the Bears by like 20 his rookie season and they beat the Raiders at home last year but didn't exactly play well?

get over it, the NFL arranges the schedule in certain ways to favor certain teams or outcomes... not like it always works. i also stated how we have our bye week prior to a home game vs the Pats... the team who crushed the Colts in the playoffs last year. did you miss that portion or is it just hard to read for you?

The nfl is becoming more like the wwe every year

The fukkin commercial nonsense around the game has become as big or bigger than the game itself

Big time college football is far more watchable than NFL at this point.

Anyway this doesn't have much to do with this thread so I'm out...

Not seeing the correlation between Justin's twitter following and the NFL?

Are you implying that because the NFL is by far the most popular sport, that this makes it an inferior product?

Common now texer no reason to get a little butt hurt here but obviously YOU are smart enough to get that being #1 and being a quality product don't necessarily go together

And if you disagree that fantasy football and women (and women who play fantasy football) are a chunk of the audience that helps the nfl achieve such lofty ratings then I'm sorry to say that you're mistaken.

Ha, with the million things the NFL has to consider when putting the schedule together you actually think they have the ability to favor certain teams. They have to placate their million dollar interests with CBS, FOX and ESPN. They have to work around baseball. They have to put more division games on the back end of the schedule. They have to keep teams off short rest and alternate home/road games as much as they can. They have to juggle the shitshow of scheduling London games and work around any number of other stadium issues.

You're nuts if you think they find a way to do all that and then try to "favor" certain teams (for some inexplicable reason).
