    Default afc championship picks

so who do you think is going to the afc championship game? After last nights pats lost to the saints. Everyone knows that the Pats are not the real deal.also as far as Tom Brady having good stats ok Ill give you that but that does not win ball games. The saints just had the better defense hands down last night. The pats have 4 road loses and will not be able to get to a superbowl if they keep this up.Huge upset to public backers of the Pats. The steelers seson is over since the lost of Big Ben. The Colts still have the lead in wins and cincy still looks solid now that they are in second place. The chargers are are average at best. I really think we could see a cincy vs. colts AFC championship game here.

I think the Patriots are very much still in the mix. It's worth remembering that their road losses include Indy and New Orleans (combined 22-0), Indy being the Colts third straight home game at the time (slightly fishy Mr Polian?) plus a then-undefeated Denver, losing in OT.

But the class is definitely in the NFC this year. The Saints and Vikings are clearly the best two teams in the NFL, from where I'm sitting.

Too early to tell. One thing for sure, nobody's backing into the playoffs this year. Except maybe Arizona again.

And they probably had a .001% chance of winning 5 in a row. As long as they keep winning the odds will get better.

The way I figure it, they need to beat Indy this weekend. But Indy has less and less to play for, finishing out the regular season. I like the Titans this weekend. Great value on the ML.

I disagree here, the 8-3 Chargers are hardly average. They do have a recent history of starting their seasons slowly, but then they turn it around, and finish strong. Since 2004, they went something like 40-5 after their slow starts to the season. Also, it was the Chargers who knocked out the Colts from the Playoffs in both 2007 and 2008.

My prediction: Chargers vs. Colts for AFC Championship.
