I've liked him since he beat USC in the Rose Bowl. 
Did I think he'd be a good NFL QB? No. The numbers aren't there but he keeps winning!  |

For the amount of time he's played and lack of experience he has - you can only say one thing:
The guy is a winner.
I love watching him play, because you know it's going to be a ballgame and he is capable of leading a team to victory any given week. I'm eager to see the Titans/Colts matchup.

Look at what Vince Young did in Tenn his first year in the pros. Look what he's done this year. Look what he's had to overcome.

likewise, do these people think that the defense all of a sudden decided, "hey, we're pretty good, lets start pressuring the quarterback and making interceptions and holding the team to less points per game".
VINCE YOUNG's ability to convert third downs has resulted in the 3rd down conversion rate to go through the roof, and the titans to dominate time of possession in all of their games, as opposed to getting torched in time of possession when kerry was qb. this has resulted in a refreshed, revamped defense. also, points on the board on many drives has resulted in a more free approach by the defense as opposed to always being on the back foot.
VINCE YOUNG's ability to move around and attract attention and force a spy and cause confusion has resulted in huge holes for chris johnson, as well as other ways through the defense for johnson such as in option plays and dumb off's, pitches, screens, etc. also, because of vince, with defense's loading up the box for vince and johnson, more guys in those 8 man box's have to focus on vince and also be honest with the pass game [since vince's completion percentage has been amazing" resulting in chris johnson only having to reach the second level before he takes off and is gone.
its no coincidence that chris johnson's yardage has gone through the roof since young came back
BEFORE VINCE YOUNG
chris johnson avg 99 yds/game over 6 games = 596 total yards
WITH VINCE YOUNG
chris johnson avg 160 yds/game over 5 games = 800 total yards
its no secret, vince has caused the titans defense to improve by dominating time of possession on offense, and has caused CJ to go crazy by attracting defenders and opening holes.
