Money Clip Look Ahead ... GB/DET

With the injuries to GB defense and what my Browns just did to the Detroit defense, is the over a safe bet at 60?!?!?!?!?!?

Rogers might cover the over on himself. Not sure the status of Stafford though. Regardless, I think this is the best option for the Thanksgiving games this year.

    Thoughts fellas?

I think Stafford is out - that Detroit offense will look awful with Culpepper?

It's 47 1/2 or 47 depending on where you look. Maybe he's talking about an alternative pointspread paying heavy odds?

I agree that this will be a game similar to Cleveland/Detroit. I'd gamble on some high totals if I could get the right price.

As for the pointspread/ML, GB shouldn't be laying this much wood on the road to anyone in the NFL. But I'm tempted to go for another polish middle with GB, either they blow out Detroit or else they get upset. Thing is, +11 is big enough to try for a backdoor cover.

Ummm are you kidding me? GB, already an iffy defense lost 2 BIG components. Det will handle their end of the over. We need that to happen ... Det needs to keep hanging around in this game so the Packers have to keep allowing Rogers to throw it around. We all see what happened in the SF game.

GB's D is not good enough to salt away a win ... so effectivley, GB's offense is their best defense.
