    Default Haven't heard who's going to be Pittsburgh Steelers QB this next week vs. Baltimore

    Does anyone know who is going to be the QB for Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday night? I haven't heard who is their third string since Batch is out for the rest of the year I heard today.

    Spin: The Steelers will have a better idea whether or not Roethlisberger can play on Sunday when coach Mike Tomlin speaks at his weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon. With Charlie Batch (wrist) out, Pittsburgh currently has only one quarterback, second-year man Dennis Dixon, on its roster. If Roethlisberger is not cleared to play against the Ravens, then the team might consider a veteran QB like Jeff Garcia.

    Hines was good at Georgia....


    I think Ben will play, the word is he isn't too bad, and the guy's brain is already gonna be mush when he is 40, so he might as well get out there.....


    at 6-4 its do or die time for the Steelers with 2 straight losses.

    Dixon, has not taken a snap in a regular season game that i'm aware of


    maybe we'll see a tommay maddux and kordell stewart rotation

    haha Big Ben will be fine! I see him starting. Might need to pick up a backup incase ben goes down again though

    looks like Ben is fine, and will start...

    Steelers are actually looking to sign a young QB to take Batch's spot for now....

    they must be pretty confident in Dixon for now

    I heard that also but it depends on how he does this week. He said he is alright. He better be alright or the Steelers are in trouble next Sun. night.
