Default Go Big for Houston tonight

I checked some stats, and I like Houston -4 coming off a bye week...how can 31st rank pass defense stop Houston with 3rd rank in passing...Obviously, RB Johnson will make some ground, but Texans has 2 weeks prepare for him...Johnson will be limited! therefore, Young will need to throw...surely he will make some mistake...i also like the over....31-20 Houston wins...

    Any thoughts guys ??

I have been riding houston the past couple of weeks. they have not come out stong in the 1st half. i wouldn't touch them in the 1st. They keep it close and come out in 3rd and put up 12 or 21 asap. I might take them in the 3rd depending on the line... just beware they are not good at the start of game. i am on them for the game and maybe over..

I have been waiting for this game since Young and the TItans got outplayed by San Fran but won the game. was hoping for a blowout win over Bills and got it. in reality, i think this line should be 6, and i got it at 3.5 -115 when it opened and watched it get hammered up to 5.

Houston's rush D is improving, holding 6 straight teams under the 100 yard mark but Titans Pass D still is horrid.

the Texans' gameplan has to simply be force Kordell Stewart, i mean Mike Vick, i mean Vince Young to beat them with his ARM. they have won 3 straight games, but Young is avg 165 yards per game through the air. i don't know how many games a team can win in the NFL with a suspect defense and a completely one-dimensional offense.

having said all that, i am getting nervous that so many other people like Houston as well.

    GL to all

I was scoping this game out like everyone else and i think the line is very sharp. In my analysis the most interesting thing I came up with was that the games between these two teams have been VERY close. Most games have been decided by 3 points or less except for Titan wins. While houston is off a bye their run defense is still very questionable and while despite the titans recent secondary surge there are still questionable. Seems like a tough game to cap, but due the history of the games between these two teams and how the texans seem to let teams back into the game (49ers 2 weeks ago) I would have to take the +4. While I am not betting on this contest and sticking with NBA tonight (go bucks +9) I would recommend to not GO BIG on the Texans.

it seems like most people are on the titans, texans looks like the play... better team should win by more than 4 no problem with their high powered offense., but this may not be the game to bet on since its hard to tell how good titans have really been over the past 3 games, stat seems to have been watchin so I may take his insight

most of tenn and houston games are close and go over. I'll take Tenn with the points. should be a close game through out.

How do you get to the statement of Houston "is done" compared to the Titans who are in the same Division with the Texans (5-4) holding a win AT Tenn (3-6) already?

What do you mean Houston is done?

I like them to play inspired in their Monday Night contest. This is only their second MNF appearance ever. They won their only one last year against Jax. Emotion should be able to carry them for a good portion of the game.

I don't believe in the MUST WIN aspect of games and even if you do, I think Houston has more riding on the contest. They are actually IN the playoff hunt at 5-4. Tennessee is in too deep of a hole with all the good teams in the AFC to make the playoffs.

I think there is also a slight talent disparity in favor of Houston.

Again, i like Houston, even though Titans is on the roll winning the last 3 games...however, Houston get a extra week to prepare for it...plus, Houston are looking for playoffs berth for the first time in 8yrs...They should come out aggressively and starting to put some points in first half...plus they have held their last six opponents to an average of 60.5 rushing yards - the fewest in the NFL in that stretch....I don't see RB Johnson can do much here.....go Texans....31-20 Houston wins...
Thought about first half....I wouldn't touch it, its better go for 2nd half....especially if Houstons are down for the first half..it best to stay under them....I looking forward for big Win for Houston....they'll finish they season with 10-6 record...
