2 Unit Tampa Bay +10 +100 .. Rodgers is not 100% with his feet and the offensive line will never be corrected. Also a slew of fresh injuries on the defense (Nick Collins, Brandon Chillar) will bring in some inexperienced players into a complicated Dom Capers 3-4 system that even the starters were having trouble grasping, There is potential here for disaster for the Packers. You have to figure Tampa Bay to have some energy here at home coming off the bye week.
1 Unit New Orleans -12.5 .. Every tout and their mother seem to be on the Panthers here. I think this is a big mistake. Yes the Panthers beat Arizona, but they did it with a pure running game: 44 rushes for 270 yards. Delhomme is still a major problem and he's not right, he only went 7 for 14, 90 yards, 1 TD. I don't expect the Panthers to have that kind of success two weeks in a row. As well, Drew Brees and that explosive Saints offense can turn this into a shootout real quick, putting the ball back into Delhomme's hands.
Atlanta -9 .. Atlanta are coming off a pair of losses and need a win here and they will not come into this game with their guards down. Perhaps Chad Campbell's most valuable weapon on offense, Chris Cooley, went down with a broken ankle.
Miami/New England Over 47 .. New England offense finding their groove with the return of Tom Brady's hot route expert Wes Welker. Both teams are taking on water with defensive injuries. Chad Henne brings a deeper passing threat to the Miami offense, but with less accurate completions, leading to more clock stoppages.
Throw in the 1 unit Dallas/Philly Under 50 and the 1.5 unit Dallas +115 ML in-game wager made in the other threads.
5-3, +6.00 units
Unlucky in the Pats/Dolphins game I thought.. Nearly 800 yards of offense, that shoulda gone over.
Same with the Giants play, just couldn't get the stop at the end.
The Saints call was rotten, I wish I would take that back if I could, but the other two losers I wouldn't change a thing.
