    Default Steelers(-6) VS Vikings

This line started at -4? and jumped to -6. Would still take the -6 because too many factors are going against the Vikings.

    1) Steelers are a home team that plays better when they have the field advantage.

    2) Injuries on the Vikings team. Pro bowl Cornerback A.Winborn will most likely not play. P. Harvin has injured shoulder, and A. Peterson is not completely 100% healthy from ankle injury.

    3) Stats wise, you will like this: Steelers are #2 in passing offense against #24 Vikings passing defense and Winborn, their best Cornerback will not play.

    4) Vikings, especially Favre, will be looking a week ahead when he visits Green Bay.

    5) Steelers have bye week coming up and who wouldn't like to play spoiler on a teams perfect record?

Only time I played the Steelers was against the Chargers, and will gladly back them up a second time in this great spot.

Looks like the Sharps are definitely on the Steelers. According to Sportsbook.com
betting trend is 56% on the Vikings. So why the line jump from -4 to -6? Doesn't take a genius. They saw a great line, and they hit it hard.

Steelers with great offense, great defense against Vikings good offense and poor defense...pretty much sums it up. Include the x-factors (#4,#5) I will gladly put my $ on the Steelers as this is my strongest opinion in week 7. **** me for not getting in early at -4.

    Good Luck and God Speed

I actually got it at -3 somehow at diamond. I'm pretty happy with that needless to say.

Do not buy into this to much. Min is 24th against the pass because their run defense is great and have been running up the scores early forcing teams to pass. Pitt-4 didn't have much value -6 is nuts

The rest of your angles suggest you are watching too much ESPN

You're trying way too hard to find reasons to play the Steelers. There are better reasons to play the Vikes.

The Steelers defense matches up very well to a team like the Vikings. Polamolu coming back from injury makes it even better.

Oh yah, and the cornerback's name is WINFIELD.

Gosh, how did you butcher that name so badly?

winborn? anything you post immediately loses credibility. winfield is the best corner in the NFL, how do you not know his name?!?!

I don't know about favre looking ahead. That feat was conquered in week 4. Probably won't be as hyped up second time around

Very tough game to bet on imo. Regardless if the spread is -3 or -6 it's still a hard call. One turnover will change the outcome of this one.

I am going to say Vikings are going to win but it will be a close one. Great game ahead but like the above poster said... I wouldn't bet on it

steelers win by 3 or less, or vikings win out right,.....no way in hell do steelers cover

steelers are 1-5 ATS this year and their opponents out score them by 38 points in the 4th quarter

have 3 units on Vikes +5.5, seems to easy but can't discount how overrated Pitt is right now

im not sure who is over rating pittsburgh? most ppl say they are barely in the top 10 of the league, if not just out of top 10....steelers are average this year as of righ now, but have the potential to repeat

How is the Vikings ML +215 not the play here? That kind of value seems to me to be a much better play than either side. Those odds put the Vikings chance of winning this game at around 31%. Are they serious?

Should be a close game. Pitt beats the bad teams by single digits, and gets outplayed in the 4th quarter. Go with Min and the points here.

I want the Vikings to win but Steelers -5.5 is a lock.

why is it a lock? steelers are 1-5 ATS this year? there is nothing indicating that steelers will have an easy time covering tomorrow

its not a lock farve is on the best start of his career adrian peterson is a beast and the vikes defense can hang with pit, jared allen will get his hands on big ben once or twice. viks with the points ml has value too

"winborn? anything you post immediately loses credibility. winfield is the best corner in the NFL, how do you not know his name?!?!"

I wrote this at almost 6 in the morn. My bad. Anyways, all these comments saying vikings will cover ..blah blah...is the same shiet I've heard when I posted my thread on Steelers vs Chargers. Chargers have great offense, LT/Sproles will run all over Steelers...they were like 0-3 0-4 ATS and look what happened? I see Steelers having a good edge, and my money is on them.

What I haven't seen is "reasons" to be betting on Vikings besides..."They will cover" "They will win outright" "Favre is playing great"...it's great and all.....but isn't very convincing and a weak reason. I'm not looking to change minds, just putting out my thoughts on why I am putting my money on them. I made up my mind.

    reasons to take minny

steelers are 1-5 ATS this year

vikings are 4-2 ATS this year

vikings are 3-0 ATS vs steelers in last 3 meetings

steelers offensive line is terrible and jared allen is going to have his way all day

steelers kicker is kicking 70% this year and has had legal problems during this week and the game is only a 6 point line, so FG's could come into play

these are just some of the reasons to take vikings as i did this post in about 2 mins

Weak, but good luck. Like I said, no good reasons. Past meetings between these two should go right out the door. Favre didn't play on Vikings vs Steelers. Different teams since.

If that was directed at me, I didn't say I was going to play MINN but saying they're looking ahead to Green Bay is really dumb.

Couldn't you ask yourself this same question?

I mean, how do you know that a professional football team and their QB are looking ahead two weeks and therefore it is a reason to go against them?

is the steelers being 1-5 ATS this year and being out scored in the 4th quarter by 38 by all opponents not good reasons?

So you are saying they will be 1-16 ATS this whole year? Your saying teams don't improve???
