    Default SD -3 tonight

Love it. Denver can totally afford to lose a game after starting 5-0. SD in a must win, at home, on MNF. I like them to get it done tonight.

    -3 -125

probably will have a total play at halftime.

What's the meaning of "must win"? Will they be shot dead if they lose?

I'm not against your SD lean but I won't bet on SD for such a reason. BOL though.

yeah if they lose they go to 2-3 and are chasing on the season and drop a HUGE game to Denver in the standings. they gotta win this game. the wild card will NOT come out of the AFC west, so the teams have to win the division.

I lost a whole bunch of Units yesterday, tonight's wager is a MUST-WIN for me!
If only it were that simple. It was a MUST WIN for the Jets, and Ravens, coming off 2 straight losses.

    SD has horrible rushing Defense
DEN has a solid running game and opressive defense
seriously, would people stop using the phrases "MUST WIN GAME" and "WIN IN A BIG SPOTLIGHT GAME"
also, this thought that, hey Denver is 5-0 they are just fine with LOSING a game.
seriously, do you think the coach gives that pep talk before the game,
"Hey guys we're 2 games up in the division, and y'all have worked your asses off, now go out there today and give it a mediocre effort, because we're so confident in our playoff hopes we only really need to win 3 or 4 more games"

No, this is a professional sport where players and coaches are paid for their production.
Did Tom Brady and the Pats stop trying at 13-0 when they had made the playoffs? I'm done

oh yeah, and a MUST WIN game, seems like it puts an undue amount of pressure on the home team, on prime time, to defeat an undefeated team.

Undue pressure leads to choke jobs by the QB and kicker. thats my way of thinking.....

ha, i love that you are so adamant in arguing for your play. does it bother you that much that someone is going against you?

haha, does ANY american really show up and work hard everyday?

all I'm saying dude is if it really is a MUST WIN situation, maybe it fires up San Diego, or maybe it puts added pressure on them which might not be a good thing....as a Mets fan I can tell you two seasons ago EVERY GAME for the last 2 weeks was a MUST WIN, and all it did was make the Mets choke even harder.
I can admit that now, since Detroit blew it this year.

Not to mention a mediocre SD team is starting the game down 3 points to a very good Denver team. SD, imo, is the underdog.

Actually I never even touted Denver to win ATS at all,
I was simply stating that the MUST WIN phrase was an innacurate way of handicapping a game.

I am a Jets fan living in Baltimore.
    trust me on that one

    SD - 3.5.
Most posters are going with Denver, they are more comfortable with them.
Denver is solid, do not take them lightly, they were pretty good last yr before collapse, lost last 4 games, now re-invigorated with new coach.
QB not so hot, if they get behind he will be a liability.
Denver 5-0, teams with 0 or 1 loss this weekend went 1-3 ATS (does not include NY @ NO).
Denver is on a roll but might finally have a letdown after BIG win over coach's former team (NE).
SD coming off a loss, will not be looking past this one.
I hate SD's running game... OL missing all pro C Harwich, but with a bye they should be healthy and new OL can be in sync.
Rivers will do well... hope they let Sprowles run a lot, LT still not right, will he ever be?
Teams with bye this weekend 2-1 and loss was Chicago, who outgained Atl, and coulda, shoulda covered (O. Pace!!!).
Sunday and Monday nite home teams have been covering except for a few (e.g. terrible Tenn team did not).
SD should be fighting to the end, will Denver? (Balt desperate, fought to end, Minny let up, Balt covered)
    SD - 3.5!

QB STATS FOR THE GAME......WHO'S WHO?!?!?!?!

    63% COMP 1236 Yds passing, 7 TD, 1 INT, 0 fumbles lost
    58% COMP 1245 Yds passing, 6 TD, 3 INT, 2 fumbles lost

Nice analysis, Betcha can't guess whose stats are Rivers and whose are KYLE ORTON'S......I'll give you a hint, Rivers is the one with 4 more turnovers, and a crappier completion percentage. Oh but wait he's KYLE ORTON, DAMN!

Yeah P Rivers has proven himself a winner in this rivalry game . . . K Orton has won some games in the past but not as many as Rivers and time and again the QB who has the experience in this game ultimatley wins right out.

    Prediction:

    Denver 23
    San Diego 31

Let get em Chargers and make it a good night

Scraggs Watch and see it will be an awsome game that will be pulled away in the 4th quarter by SD. I just do not trust K Orton in this one. S Maerriman will be all over him tonight and force him to rush a bad pass or fumble . . . SCOOP & SCORE BABBBBBBY!!!!!

    Watch and see

So goddam Denver runs back a kickoff and a punt for two TD's in the first half.
    WTF can you do.
Another half to go, maybe SD will back into a TD or two.
