Remembering this can be helpful when considering betting teams going from one side of the continent to the other as 14 point favourites, and in other situations :-)

No team in the NFL can come into a game like Philly did and expect to win. That was a complete disgrace. Oakland looked determined in the first game as well, but Chargers still left with the win. OAK completely sucks, but they may pick a game here and there to show up, (like they should in every game), but only if the other team leaves the door open. Don't expect them to fight back if the other team takes a lead of more than a TD.

How exactly would you get half a win? That does not make any sense. I said half of Oakland showed up. Their defense made a great effort. The offense continues to be the crap unit of the NFL. Setting aside a broken coverage TD pass for 86 yards, Russell's numbers for the rest of the game were a pathetic 16/27 138 yards and 2 picks. Originally Posted by iLogan

Russell is still not a good NFL QB nor will he ever be. There are a few QBs out there that can heave a ball 75 yards down the field...it is the 1% or less that can do it accurately that become quality NFL QB's. so whats the play for oaklands next game can they beat the jets? Really im giving up on jets for now after watching that lost to buffalo. I thought they were contenders for the playoffs.

Oakland would be a formidable opponent if they had a quarterback. Their defense is pretty solid, have a nice stable of rbs, decent o-line, and one of the better tight ends in the league. Qb play is just God awful and puts the rest of the team in a bad position game after game.
