0-4 vs 3-1 and Peyton and only 3 points. Come on now.

Titans are undoubtedly the best team without a win - but I don't think they are anywhere near the same team they were last year.

I've already put a few bucks on the Colts -3.5, even though they lost this game last year by 10.

If the Colts was favored by a touchdown, then the books would have made it too easy for the public to pound the Colts therefore the books will lose a lot in that game. If they make Colts only a -3.5 fav, then a lot of people will be suspicious and pound the Titans, which is exactly what the books want.

    Just my 2 cents!

Im a colts fan but the line looks like oddsmarkers want action on colts. Johnson might have a big game for tennesse.

The Colts can cover 3.5. Peyton and the offence are on a roll. Tennessee won't get their first win this week.

the average sports bettor will bet the colts once they see it as -3.5

there are more people like that than people who actually think about what you said

True, but the people that actually think about what I said bet MORE/HEAVIER though, if the books will more than happy to get some of those big money on Tennessee. It's just me though! Sometimes we all overthink a game don't we?

I commented on this game in the Winless Teams thread. 0-4 teams have historically been good bets, but there is no way in H-E-Double Hockey Sticks that I would bet against Peyton vs. the horrible Tennessee pass defense. Color me Square here.

Agreed. Colts win this one easy.

In my humble opinion, you guys are overthinking this line. The colts are a very "public" team, and they have looked awesome so far including nationally televised game. Manning is playing out of his mind. They're playing a winless team and yet they are only small favorite??? This line is clearly short. I'm not playing this game, but I see it only as a no play or play on Titans.

yes, i agree this is either a no play or a small titans bet

I believe George Costanza had it right. Whatever thought first pops into my head I immediately do the opposite. I liked the Colts immediately but now I'll take the Titans. Can't be any worse than flipping a coin.

there is NO way i could make a play on the colts here. But likewise im not wasting anymore money on the titans either. no play for me but i did take TEN in the pick 8 contest just because if they cover i will get a leg up on EVERY person that took INDY.

this line is meant to spook public money away from the colts as previously stated. i have the colts winning this game between 10-13 points.

I was on the Tennessee Kool-Aid last week....won't make that mistake again. Until their defense start showing up they are a no play.

People are still thinking they're going to turn around into the Tennessee of last year. Kerry Collins has been awful. If you're going to pick this game, Indy seems the only way to go.

I'm as square as the day is long. Took the colts at -3.5 for 2 units and bought the colts to -2.5 for another 3 units.

    Good Luck Everyone

    they should to the towel

The only thing that stands out as an advantage for the titans is the run game. Miami controled the game against the colts because the colts D could not stop their run game to save their lives. I bet this game is pretty close, but in the end, the colts should definetly win the game and cover the spread.

Looking for Chris Johnson to run rampid however

Oh, and another touchdown or two for Nate Washington

I am taking Ten big!!! The line opened at colts -1 now why would they open it that low against a 0-4 team playing a 4-0 team strange so while the public pounds the colts i am taking ten as a big upset everyone watch!!
