    Default Colts next week?

    Hey all,

I'm a noob in regards to having winning picks (hah) but really, if anyone could answer why the colts spread is so low, I'd love to know. I would think the colts are better than -3 1/2..

    1. Colts are on the road. (Typically, home field is worth a FG)

    2. This is a division rivalry. (This can tighten up the line)

    3. The Titans @ 0-4 will be leaving it all on the field.

The Titans are actually a good team, running bad. The Titans being 0-4 isn't the same as the Chiefs, Browns or Bucs being 0-4. The Titans are coming off being the #1 seed in the AFC last season and still have high expectations. Besides, defending home field against the top dog in the division is basically the season for them right now. If they've got any dynamite left in their pockets, they're going to be using it for this game.

as far as the jets goes. i think new orleans exposed sanchez for what he really is. i expect miami to have 8 in the box and pressure him. miami has a great run d and should limit the jets to about 17 or so points. miami has a the best running game and the jets run d isn't quite as good as its run d. miami has a rough schedule this year and needs to win all the home games it can.

It's a game you are better off staying away from unless you just want to gamble. No real EV, the Indianapolis/Tennessee games are never what they seem.

so perhaps the under is a safer bet than the spread? hmm..

The Titans are a good team and certainly capable of beating the Colts.... However, they like to play a lot of nickle against the Colts and their starting NB is out... also... there is a very high possibility that Finnegan and Harper, their two starting CBs could be out... In that case there would be two rookies and someone who was on the streets last week playing those 3 positions... Manning could very well destroy this secondary, as the depth is terrible.

If Finnegan and Harper arent practicing by Thursday i'm putting big money on the Colts...and this is coming from a die hard Titans fan.

The wildcat offense, which is the best part of the Dolphins, will get ripped apart by Rex Ryan. The Jets took down Patriots. With that defense there is not a team in the NFL they can't beat on a good day.

i complteley agree with ezeblazin i have some pics in mind now but would never decide completely on tuesday on a pic too much pratice in the week for someone to adgrevate a injury or something but indy def looks good and miami also... Look what miami did to indy and sanchez is nothing like peyton just doesnt have the experience or the recievers.. but jets game just seems a little risky who knows with them and something is up with titans and who know when there going to pull out of this slump but when they do watch out cause its going to be a masacre

I bought the point to colts -2.5 and threw 5 units on it. I'm clearly the betting public.... sooo... I see the line moving to 4 than 4.5. I wanted to lock in under a FG

Finnegan is playing, which is reason enough for me to stay away from this game.. although i'd still play the Colts if i was forced to choose
