Default Rams Will Get Blown Out

No way the go to SF and cover.

Best WR (Robinson) out, Avery and Burton mini receivers with no experience not getting it done.
RT Smith out, journeyman Goldberg at RT. Brown (center) playing banged up.
    Key safety Butler out.
Coach Spags is rebuilding, cut two starting LB's and remaining starter ('08 Mister Irrlevant Vboda) suspended, practice squad LB will start.
Boller might be a slight upgrade from Bulger, but he is no gift.
    CB Bartells banged up.

Rams got smothered 28-0 by Seattle (could have been 48-0), should have been blown out at Washington but pathetic Washington "O" had to settle for FG's in red zone, and Rams got blown out at home by GB.

Coming off Minny last minute loss, Singletary will have Niners ready, even with Gore out.

    SF - 9 1/2, BIG!

Add to this, 4 of five Rams WR's are banged up, have not practiced. (Avery, Burton, etc) and may not be ready this Sunday. And the receivers as I stated last week were absolutley not NFL ready. And TE McMichael is over the hill, shot, got old fast.

How will one dimensional Rams score on Vikes "D"? No way.

WE ARE AWARE that Minny is coming off big MNF win, are 4-0 (4-0 teams spread inflated, also let down very possible), and Rams are 0-4 (0-4 teams bounce back against inflated spreads.)

BUT this Rams team is being totally torn apart and put together again by Spagnola, and is thin on talent. He god rid of productive but older starters, is looking at younger players for next few yrs. Then he will spend the $ 22M in dead salary $$$$ that he ate this yr on free agents, draft again in 2010, and start to become winners.

Another blow out, Vikes smother Rams even in sleepwalk mode, 33-10.

Yea you know for sure that the vikes WILL score 30 on this team, and the rams will be lucky to score 10

AP had a down game last week. Expect him to get fed the rock early and often. Vikings aren't a great road team, but this has all the makings of the Rams getting boat raced this week.

I actually know some new "hot shot" that decided he was going to turn 25k into 100K. He is about even now, but decided to make the Rams +10 is biggest play of the year so far. He is wagering 6k on this game. How crazy is that?

There's no way I'd put any money on this Rams team until they get an identity other than being terrible

I would like to hear why.

Yes, letdown game for Vikes... but Rams not only have poor talent but are very banged up to boot.

Hunch bet, too many points, letdown game, take a chance, possibly.

BUT making Rams biggest play of the yr if you know state of Rams team is insanity.

    AGAIN.

Indy - 13.5 is looking good. 5-0 but should be no letdown coming off BYE; they will be focused, full of energy.

Nightmare for Rams to face this team, Rams "D" still reeling, WR's banged up still, were down to 2 WR's in the game vs Jacksonville, they had a TE ready to go in next series but Carter went back in... they had picked up often cut Carter 3 days beforehand.

Do not blame Bulger, there is no one to throw to and OL is not what they had hoped.

During the game, but especially late in the game All-Pro Indy DE's will sack Bulger, resulting in turnovers, field postion, scores.

DO NOT BE FOOLED by Ram's Jacksonville cover, Jags had 33-13 first down advantage, superior yardage, etc. Jags turned ball over in red zone several times, plus a freak interception run back for TD by aging Rams DE Little.

Have I mentioned Manning yet? He will go wild in the dome, Rams "D" bad and also still banged up.

    INDY - 13.5!!!!!!!!

Bulger is a very accurate QB. Problem is he needs time to throw and the rams have no Oline...

Rams just traded LB Witherspoon, for a rookie WR 5th rd choice that has not caught a pass in the NFL.
SO the Rams will have another practice squad type LB start vs. Manning. That should go well. Spags has let go or traded
3 of top 4 LB's on depth chart (Draft, Tiaisamoa, Witherspoon), only Laurinitus remains of top 4.
(FYI jjgold, Bulger is no bargain, but he is not the problem. He has been sacked-hurried-etc more than any QB in the NFL last 3 yrs.)

Bulger has had YEARS to prove himself. He is simply not a quarterback you can revolve a franchise around as long as he has had.

Is there a QB that throws more pick 6s than Bulger? 28 INTs in past 2 seasons.

Rams need to trade him while he still has some trade value. He'd be a good fit with Dolphins, Titans or Redskins.

I am not looking up the stats for you, but Bulger has been sacked-hurried-hit more than any QB the NFL last 3 yrs, I remember seeing the stat.

He is not "gold" but he is not the Rams problem, the OL '07-'08 were a disaster, '07 5 of top 7 OL were injured most of the yr.

This yr they paid some money for C Brown and drafted Jason Smith but the OL is still struggling.

You are right, though, if he played for Miami it it would be big boost, Miami has good OL. Titans, yep, would help; Redskins, this year, not so sure, their OL is injured and below par, but Bulger would be an upgrade compared to super-knucklehead Campbell.

I pick the Colts here also. I think it should be at least 21 point win by Indy on Sunday.

    the guy picked indy -13.5.

are you saying that there is a such thing as an obvious pick in the NFL?

oooooooohhh you are in for a very very very rude awakening when the NFL takes your money like candy from an infant, son

The Rams' defense is getting more injured every week, and they just traded starting linebacker Witherspoon...

SO Rams let go of 3 of top 4 LB's, Laurinitis will have two practice squad LB's around him. Spags is cleaning house of all mediocre veterans.
I do not like to play HUGE favorites like this, but Rams were lucky to cover last week (FD's 33-13 Jags, Jags 2 red zone TO's, and one fluke INT pick 6 by DE Little).
Load up on Indy - 13.5.

Granted I'm from Indy so I'm not exactly neutral...but I expected this line to be like 17.5 or so
The Rams have lost 4 of their 6 by 19 or more! The Colts are as healthy as they're going to be all season!
Worse case scenario....Stephen Jackson gets 150 and the Rams ball hog the ball! The Colts still put 27 on Miami in 14 minutes of possession! Bottom line...there is no such thing as a lock in the NFL but the Colts haven't won 14 straight regular season games by taking the little guys for granted...plus they don't run the ball well enough to sit on the lead...Manning wants Marino's single season yardage record!

    Indy 38-13

Still looks like a blowout. Butler back at safety for Rams but so is Sanders for Indy.

    Indy - 14 BIG

    Also took:

    Cleve + 10
    Pitt - 6
    SF + 3.5
    Mia + 6.5 BIG
