Which underdog is the best bet?
Miami +2 vs Buffalo -
Dolphins running game and solid D will be enough to defeat the Bills. Give me the home dog desperate for a win.
Denver +3 vs Dallas
The only quality opponent either team has beaten is the Bengals. However Denver does not get full marks for that miracle last minute. Romo is very inconsistent and found a way to lose ag the Giants, the Cowboys only quality opponent thus far. Denver's D will face a stiff challenge ag the Cowboys rushing attack. However, I'm not sure which Dallas backs will be healthy besides Tashard Choice. Denver will take advantage of Dallas turnovers and pull the upset.
San Diego +6.5 at Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh's ineffective running game and the absence of Polamalu will make this a close game. This game will be close, 6.5 is way too many points. San Diego might be able to pull the upset if Rivers, Gates, and Jackson can have huge games. Give me San Diego +6.5.
Baltimore +2 at New England
I am staying away from this game. I could see either team winning by a FG.
New York Jets +7 at New Orleans
I'm avoiding this game as well. If I had to play this game I would probably lean towards the Jets +7 with their Defense. However, the Dome will be noisy and it might throw Sanchez off his mojo. Brees might be able to engineer a 10 point victory if the Jets have to settle for FGs. I'll happily leave this game alone.
Others?
I am most confident in the Chargers (+ 6.5).
However I like the Dolphins (+2) to take out their winless anger ag the Bills this week.
