Bet some of these line because I figure people would overreact with some bad loses.. TB being a good example.. getting 7 against WAS who was embarrased.. I see people taking WAS just because "they will be looking for redemption".. so I went the other way

I set these up in 2 - 4 team parlays as well.. in my new favorite sportsbook, BetPhoenix (hi Kate)

Take this FWIW because I'm a newb here, but this is what i thought -

I reeeaally like the Giants and Bengals bets. IMO, Giants is the safer of the two - KC sucks.. period. The Bengals pick is very good too; the only thing that makes me hesitant at all is Anderson is getting the start and you don't know how he'll react to regaining his spot with the 1's. The Browns suck though, so it probably won't be a problem.


I think the Chargers, Vikings, and Ravens are pretty solid. The Ravens pick is the best of the three, IMO, especially if Wilfork is out or limited (didn't practice yesterday). I don't know about the Chargers though. They travel across the country to Pittsburgh, where they play an extremely talented team who knows they need to start stringing together some W's soon. The Vikes pick is the one I'm least confident about in this group - only because Favre threw some awful passes against SF that should have been picked off, thereby costing them the game. Plus that stadium is going to give him hell every time he steps on to the field.


I don't like taking the Saints by 6 - i think it's going to be a close game. The NO D is pretty bad, and Sanchez may take advantage of that. If he can (and they play a little keep away with Brees on O), the Jets D has a shot to slow down Brees and keep the game tight.


No opinion on TB or TEN - I think TB gets blown out in DC but they're starting a new QB that may bring a little extra to the table, so I'm staying away. I like both the Titans and the Jags, but I haven't seen enough of their games. I'd say it's a good pick (b/c of how they shut down Slaton and Parker) but then I think about how MJJ went off last week.

the saints are a good play in my opinion.. but i do agree the jets could pull it out..

TB does have me worried.. but that was a reflex bet to WAS losing.. figured the public would come in heavy on them, so i was looking at a pre-"Fade The Public" bet..

and Ten worrys me, then I am good with it.. prime candidate for no playing, but the wager is in.. lol
