Default How would you play the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday?

I was just looking at these three options:

    Baltimore +3 -145
    Baltimore +110 (estimated)
    Baltimore +2 -110

I'm a little torn between the first two options. Which one would you choose?

This was supposed to go in players talk, I hope it gets moved.

In my ranking the Ravens should be a -3.5 Fave on this road game.

Im guessing the linesmakers believe Brady and company run this game.

I think not. Ravens win this one by a TD or more.

Thanks for the advice. I'd only play the Ravens in this one as well.

    +2 -110 = +3 -145.1 = +105.1 ML

So +2 -110 and +3 -145 are the same thing, but the best value is +110 ML

Yes but Ravens may be best team in the AFC right now.

sure they look good. but they only beat san diego so far. the chiefs and browns were expected wins. so really they are 1-0.

You can't remove wins just because they were expected. Green Bay was expected to beat Cincinnati and Washington was expected to beat Detroit.

You can say they've only beaten one good team, but that doesn't make them 1-0.

I don't think this is the week the Pat's wake up. Ravens win this one outright.

im not removing wins. btw i had bengals to beat green bay so im not sure why that was expected and bengals have also beaten steelers. the bottom line is the ravens have only beaten 1 legitimate team. washington was installed as a fav but many people were saying det should break their streak here. the chiefs and browns are the 2 worst teams in the NFL bar none.

Pats are favorites for a reason, Vegas is smarter than you, remember that.

The only reason they are a favorite is because the Patriots are a VERY HUGE Public betting team. If they made the line Patriots +1, even more $$$ Would be on the Patriots. Also couple in the fact that the linesmakers have not made BRADY an underdog in almost 3 years...Public Betting .... thats the key word

The Ravens 3-0 means nothing to me. They beat possibly 2 of the worst teams in the league for these 3 wins, the Browns and the Chiefs who put up 24 points in a losing effort. SD put up 26 and was 1 bad 4th down play call from winning outright. Agreed NEs' offense has struggled but they've been without Welker, who should be back this week and they still beat a very good Atlanta Team by 16. The defense held Sanchez to 1 touchdown and Ryan to 0. Balt. has no cakewalk here, this will be their toughest game yet.

Great game but always lean to the Pats

It's not who the Ravens beat, it's HOW they are doing it. Baltimore has an OFFENSE this year, which means that the defense doesn't have to win games by itself like in past seasons. Remember the Ravens won a Super Bowl with a much worse offense than this (where have you gone Trent Dilfer?), and the defense, although not on par with that team, is still very solid.

There is also a reason Pats are favored by less than a field goal at HOME.

This game is a true coinflip people,

If Bal wins (around 50% of the time) people will say "Wow Baltimore is for real this year, guaranteed Superbowl appearance"

If NE wins (around 50% of the time) people will say "Wow Pats are back, Brady is back, Pats all the way"

Whoever wins doesnt mean anything, its whoever gets the right side of the coin.

Oh and 64% is on Baltimore, so much for public money...

^ errr, if it's 50/50, you should take Baltimore on the underdog ML.

There's no way the pats are losing this week to the Raven. I also think this game is going way over and pats win by 10

bro i hope you win and i did put 2 units on the browns and lost so good call there. but this week is a little different dont you think? 10 plus points not sure about that.

well.. this is what I am going with.. baltimore gets 2 ints.. 1 for TD, 1 for 3.. they hold the ball 33 minutes of the game.. run it up and down the field for 2 more TDs.. MAYBE 1 pass TD.. maybe..

New england tried to play catchup (this si where the ints happen) after initially leading 7-0 or 3-0.. they get 2 TDs max (including the first td) and maybe a FG..

    Baltimore wins 24-14..

that is what my capping says, and so far i have been right cappping the ravens, so i ain't stopping now

    good luck bro!

Ravens are going to be jacked for this game big time. I would go witht the money line. Either they win outright, or they lose by more than a fieldgoal. I don't think it will be that close either way.

Pats will win no doubt about it. Brady is back but not 100%... It's all about team and player morale, who more hungry for the win. Brady and the pats are getting back into their grove whatch out for them after week 6.. Brady should be 100 percent and blowing out teams!! Pats easy win against Baltimore

I would take the alternate line like -3.5 or even -7.5 for Baltimore. This game is not going to be close.

Patriots defense held down Atlanta last week. They arent as old as they've been, and the secondary is much stronger. They wont necessarily put up 40 points, but I don't think Baltimore scores more than 17 on Sunday.

    NE -1.5 for me
