Default Bears -2 best play of weekend?

Can't see how it isn't....the way their defense has played and the fact that the seahawks may be without 3 starters one of which being their quarterback.....I'm all over it. Seems money to me

a lot of sharps like fading a team that just beat a defending champ. I don't think it should apply here without Hassleback. Its a no play for me, as the hawks are keeping quiet as to who will start for them.

Hasselbeck isn't the most important injury here to the hawks. Seneca Wallace has the ability to keep this close and beat the bears defense.

My key in this game is that the Seahawks will be without 2 of their three starting LBs, and the only healthy starting LB is a rookie in his third game in the NFL. Seattle's defense relies on their LBs. Hill and Tatupu being out is going to be huge for Chicago. Look what Gore did to Seattle last week without Tatupu and Hill. Forte will have a big game, especially catching the ball out of the backfield.

Hawks at home help a bit, but this is an easy play from a hawks fan.....CHI -2.

I think the Bears are a great play. I was watching ESPN and I honestly don't know how everyone on there could be doggin the Bears and saying the Seahawks will take this one. Cutler still needs to have a good road showing, and this is the opportunity right here.

Really thinking about betting the farm on the bears. The only thing that worries me is the bears' secondary. They are shaky at best and tend to get burned for big plays i.e. Green Bay week 1.

They sure didn't get burned by Roethlisberger and his WRs last Sunday. And Roethlisberger knows how to burn a weak secondary.

The Bears secondary is not their strong point, but the rookie safety Al Afalava has come up big this season so far.

The big difference in this game may be the Bears special teams. They have one of the best all around special teams in the league, and I expect them to make a difference in this game.

This is a statement game for the Bears, while the Hawks are just looking to survive until Hasselback gets back in a week or two. Seattle is really beat up right now and they will be outmatched on Sunday. Bears by double digits in this one.

I totally agree. The Bears special teams and turnovers should make the diffenece. Let's just hope Cutler and his receivers are on the same page again this week.

Seattle is going to be a big play for me. You can make a fortune betting against Jay Cutler

I was referring to Cutler giving points.

I got the Bears at -1. It's my only play of the week and I took it for 3 units. I think the Bears will stay motivated. Especially considering this from the past week...The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh promised in a conference call on Wednesday that he could beat Bears CBs Charles Tillman and Zack Bowman on Sunday when the two teams meet in Seattle Week 3. "I feel like I'm going to get open every play, every time," Houshmandzadeh said. "But that's not going to be the case. Those guys get paid well. I feel I'm going to win regardless, but I have to be realistic. I feel I'm going to win 95 percent of the time and they can get the other 5."

I'd have to agree with taking the bears. I'm already on them.
