Default MNF Colts at Dolphins... Thoughts?

I'm feeling the under on this one... this game is a sucker pick though IMO Miami will bring it but not sure about this one yet. Any thoughts?

I agree. Both teams will be more aggressive.

Hmm... Miami won last 4 of 6. But the last time they met was in 2006 when the colts won. Manning on a 10 game win streak in the regular season as well... I think Colts win here, and I took them for 1 unit at -3.

I don't like the over/under here. I see the Colts scoring, but not sure about Miami. Plenty of yards last week but not many points. Lots of turnovers too...

Colts will be without starting WR Gonzalez too. Reggie Wayne will probably be getting a lot of attention from Miami's D so it remains to be seen if Peyton can reliably hit Baskett, Garcon, or Collie.

It's TUNA'S Fish plus the points and the Under 41.

Peyton Manning can make any throw on the field, you know who the most important player to that organization is? BOB SANDERS!!!!!!!! And he is not playing! Colts D might have looked good against Jack, but this is South Beach MNF, MIAMI +3 Under41

Dallas Clark will be the main target tonight

    Manning is prone to errors
Offensive line is a C at best
Last week they barely beat a weak Jax team
Defensive has talent but small in size. Pushed 2 rookie Jax tackles around.
Running game is a coin toss
As stated no Bob Sanders. Secondary suspect at best.
    Special teams weak
    Vinateri not as good
Season over/under was set at 10.
    We do have Dallas Clark

I like Miami, being a Colt fan for 25 years.

But, it's the NFL and anything can and will happen.

    Best of luck

Yeah Manning is terrible...horrible 9-3 record on MNF with a lousy 67.7 completion % and 25-2 TD/int ratio! If you were a Colts fan whatsoever...you would know that Jax always plays us tough and they know our offense inside and out! Our O-line is 100% healthier than last year and the secondary (minus Bob for parts of 2008 as well) gave up a NFL record low 6 TD passes on the season...yeah thats horrible? Chad "Shotput the ball" Pennington should light us up! Colts win by atleast 7 tonite and as for Barney Fife....follow the Dolphins or atleast a team you know something about?

Pennington has a career 140 QB rating vs the Colts. I like Miami in this spot, but not sure about the under here.

I am thinking Under, but because its a MNF game, I agree weird things can happen. In order to make a "safe" bet, I may tease the total to the Colts +4...still studying.

I have this in the last game of a teaser. I am on under 55. I don't see a ton of scoring in this one and think Miami will look to run the ball and eat up clock.

Miami is a classic case of a bad team (1-15) in 2007 that capitalized on a last place schedule to rebound big....now that they have a tougher schedule here comes 6-10 or 7-9 again! I don't see Parcells really upgrading the talent much? Pat White and Jason Taylor? I'm from Indy so I can be guilty of overestimating the Colts but our new aggressive blitzing style will really help force some turnovers and keep teams from playing ball control/keep away from Peyton and the offense! I don't bet Indy often but I see a solid talent advantage here and the Colts have always been solid on the road!

Seems like there is medium-to-strong consensus on the Dolphins from this forum.

I'll be on the other side however with a standard play on Colts -3. In my opinion, The week 1 games were not good indicators of how teams will continue to perform on the season. I look at the Colts to have another strong year and for the Dolphins to lose the spark they had last year.

This is a tricky game, may stay away.

50% of people say Colts easy.

50% of people say Colts are a public play so they're being 'sharp' and picking Dolphins and under.

50% of people say they WANT you to think Colts are a sucker play.

50% of people have no idea what to do.

I haven't watched Miami much since the Colts left the AFC East but if they leave their safeties back then the Colts will nickel-n-dime the ball while I can guarantee Miami will run the ball, screens, dump offs, etc. because of Freeney/Mathis pash rush and Noodle Arm Pennington can't shotput the ball more than 30 yards anyway! Under is probably a good play!!

I will be happy to see Indy win, but not betting with heart for certain.

Actually, his post is valid and logical. You can have different 50% portions of the same pie my friend. Imagine slicing a pizza once into 50/50, then slicing it again at a different angle, still splitting the pizza into 50/50 sections. Kind of like a Venn Diagram if you've ever seen one of those.

    You spelled offense wrong.

See, it's not fun to nit-pick!

If you read his post again you will notice that it doesnt make any sense with your explaination. I dont care if i spelled "offense" wrong, I´m just glad you pointed that out for me, you see I´m born on Iceland and I live in Sweden.

I'm on a parlay, Colts -3 and over 41. Im pretty certain this game will go over, but I think Miami wins. Miami is just running the ball much better.
