Browns +4.5 (-105) (Bodog) to win 1 Unit
91%. That's the percent of wagers coming in on the Vikings. Let's see, 91% of wagers coming in on a team with the worst coach in the league. 91% of wagers coming in on a team whos best receiver may not play and if he does play will have a sore hamstring. 91% of wagers coming in on a team whose QB joined the team less then a month ago, has taken 0 snaps with his #1 receiver, is coming off of a torn bicep, stated he has a cracked rib, and led the league in interceptions last year. 91% of wagers coming in on a team that is garbage on the road and 6-12 outside of domes the past 3 years. I smell trouble. I don't think the Vikings are going to be all that much better this year, atleast not until they work some of the kinks out. I don't think Favre is at a point in his career where he is still an elite QB, I think he is very middle of the pack and is living off of his name. Adrian Peterson is a monster but Cleveland has a good interior defense and may be able to contain him a bit. Shaun Rogers in the middle is going against second year center John Sullivan which is a match-up problem for the Vikes.

Braylon Edwards appears to be back to his pro-bowl form, or atleast it looked that way when I saw him in pre-season and with Brady Quinn at QB I think this team will be better. While Quinn wasn't impressive in two of his three games last season he has been better in the pre-season, particularly against the Titans in Week 3 (the only pre-season game worth looking at). The Vikes are going to bring pressure on Quinn all day which means Eric Mangini will be implementing a lot of short slants and more of a 3-step drop attack which I think is more suited for this Browns team. Jamal Lewis will have problems against the Vikings sick run defense but Lewis is a hard nose runner who won't hesitate to plow into the line. I am expecting Josh Cribbs to have an impact in this game. Whether it be on special teams or in the wildcat I think Cribbs may have a big play that decides this game. Ultimatley, this is a play coming from my gut.

Falcons -4 (+105) (Matchbook) to win 2.10 Units
I really think the Falcons are a team to watch this year. I think Matt Ryan is a great game manager with the ability to make a play when called upon but the strength of this team is on the ground. Michael Turner's first year as a starter was a success to say the least. He quickly isolated his position as a top 5 running back in the league and I expect more of the same this year. Atlanta finally has a football team to get excited about, their first since the Mike Vick era, and the Georgia Dome will be rocking for this one. Roddy White gets a good match up and will need to be double teamed all day to be kept in check. This should open things up for a guy like TE Tony Gonzalez who may quickly become Ryan's favorite target. The Dolphins will look to run the ball to the outside which is the stregth of their running attack however, they may have a tough time getting outside of DE John Abraham. The Dolphins don't have a passing attack which will make the Falcons back out of the box which could present major problems if they can't get the run game going. I think the Falcons take this one with relative ease.

49ers +7 (-120) (5 Dimes) to win 1 Unit
I absolutley love what Mike Singletary is doing with this team. His no bullshit attitude is just what this team needs. The pieces are there, they have stars on this team they just could never get on the same page until Singletary came on board. Guys like Nate Clements, Michael Lewis, Takeo Spikes, and Patrick Willis on the defense presents a tough unit with some pop. The offense will revolve around Frank Gore who is as solid as they come. The 49ers will run the ball and play defense and I am expecting the Niners to be a tough out all year.

The Cardinals come off of a SB loss which left them in shock after a great comeback which gave them the lead. They may come out hungry but I am not expecting as much from them this year. I think they miss the playoffs now that Seattle seems to be healthy. They still don't have a running back and its hard to beleive Kurt Warner is going to throw the ball every down, every year, until he is a senior. This may be the year Warner drops off, or I could be completley off. Either way I think the 49ers are going to be the better team this year and will keep this one close throughout.

Packers -3.5 (-105) (Matchbook) to win 2 Units
Love the Packers this year. Think they are a legit Super Bowl contender this year with all the juice they have on offense. Also love their defense. Love the switch to the 3-4 and using Kampman as a James Harrison type player. Bears getting a lot of love with Cutler now running the show however he is still throwing to the likes of Devin Hester who still isn't a WR. Will Cutler get frustrated if Hester drops some balls in the regular season like he did in the preseason? This should be a tough battle but ultimatley I think this is the year Aaron Rodgers isolates his spot as an elite QB as this first unit absolutley tore up teams in the preseason and have too many weapons to cover.

All food choices and I agree with your reasoning behind them, but I can't get myself to take the Browns even with the questions for a few Minny players. Gonna lay the points here, whatever it is closer to kickoff.
