My first thought was Tom Brady before I opened the thread...but Paco has a point here...with Brady you also get his hot wife...which is fine...but Peyton seems to live and die for the game, and I think most people see him as a "regular guy." He also doesn't have a lot of the off the field stuff that has tarnished some of the others. Ray Lewis and Favre are good examples...I am sure we can all think of many more...but most of them aren't elite talent.

I might start leaning Peterson... he's been showing up in more and more spots and commercials, but they are actually football related more often than not.
It's Peyton/Brady for now, but it'll be Peterson over the next few years.

ADP, but it will still be a while before he becomes a household name and has moms and wives knowing who he is. I think the NFL would like Brady to be, but he doesn't do enough commercials.

It should be Aaron Rodgers.
Lunch-pail work ethic and the guy doesn't get rattled. Gives good interviews and is very grounded. Green Bay loves him; America would too if they knew who he is.
