No doubt...I'll take two winning weeks in a row any day ronjon. Still a bit hesitant on Arizona tonight, but might place a bet since my afternoon pick came through in style and went 7-1 in my NFL picks contest...seems my instincts in Pros is good today...

it's gonna be a shootout tonite. Indy with a WEAK defense and Peyton can put up 28-35 without missing a step. Werner will make a huge mistake costing his team key field position. 60 points may be scored.

I'm on the over. I've been hot too. G-men in the morning and Bears in the afternoon.

Glad I didn't touch Arizona. They were God awful. Cincy looks good next week...

I like this too. I think the Pitt win will be the springboard they need.
I got 2 road favs this week. Boys and Titans both at -3.
    Good Luck.

Titans very unlikely to start 0-4. Take them at -3. Look to them to go under also (41.5). Also look to denver to go over 42.5

    Parligod, ronjon, and IJ,

Glad you're on board with the Cincy pick. I liked it at -4 as well, but drug my feet and placed it before it got to 6 (luckily). Good luck this week boys. My CFB high is a good one...hope it lasts through NFL Sunday

    Two plays this week:

    Houston +6 (2 units)
    NY Jets -2 (2 units)

    Houston +9 (2 units)

With the Colts losing CB Marlin Jackson and SS Bob Sanders for the season as well as starting CB Kelvin Hayden for a month I like Schaub and Andre Johnson to both have very good days and keep this game within a score.

1-0 on the day. Happy with that play. Wish I had pulled the trigger on Carolina, but what can you do?

  21. #21

    Denver +3 (2 units)

With 67% of the money on the public and the line only moving on the vig I like Denver at home getting points. Too many public favs on Monday nights winning (Indy, Minn come to mind) as well as teams that the the public loves to put money down on. Here's another thing. I asked 10 different people at work who watch football who they liked to win tonight's game. They all said Pittsburgh.

Not bad play my man, but really the game is complete leave alone. This spread is right on point I couldn't think of better spread on the game, if Denver was getting 5 they would have been play for me, or if Pitt was Pk em. I might just for fun, put very small play in on double teaser and play with the bookies tonite. Denver +8.5 and Pitt +3.5. Monday night games tend to be very sharp.

I've gone back and forth on this game cougar..

Pitt is 0-3 ATS on the road. but of course, they are coming on a bye. Plus only 2 favorites covered yesterday..a favorite is due?

Honestly, I think it is a coin flip. whoever makes that one big play..whether a turnover, special teams, etc etc will cover..The problem is ..you have to guess which team will make that big play.

I take Denver..home team will make that big play!

GL boys...feel the line is close to right, but feel there is an edge to Denver here. We'll see how the game plays out. Of course more points would have been perfect, but what can you do? Big Ben's uncanny ability to take a lot of sacks and Denver's ability to get into the backfield is crucial. Mile High (I refuse to call it anything else) is a rough place to play. Keep the crowd in it, control the football, and I see a Denver win outright. Orton scares me a bit, but he has developed into a a nice QB who makes good decisions and that will be important tonight. Denver has a great O-line which has given him more time to throw than that garbage he had over in Chicago.

1-0 for the day. The whole game changed after Polamalu went out. Cincy played tough though, and I felt they would have covered either way, but the straight up win would not have come quite as easy.

6-6 on the year, but getting better as the year goes on.

    Jacksonville -8.5 (4 units)

    0-2 this week.

I am doing so well in CFB lately that it seems pointless to piss it away in the NFL. I might hang up the NFL laces until the playoffs. I suppose I should have known better than to bet on a team whose starting running back took a knee at the one yard line the previous week instead of running in for a TD.

    Washington Redskins +9.5 (-110)
    Seattle Seahawks -4 (-110)
    Miami Dolphins -3 (-130)
Indianapolis Colts vs Houston Texans Over 47
    Tennessee Titans -2 (-110)
Kansas City Chiefs vs San Diego Chargers Over 44.5
    Chicago Bears +10.5 (-110)
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers +12.5 (-110)

Thoughts? They'll all be the same. Probably 2 units.

Miami line moving (the vig but not the number) is worrysome with the public all over the Dolphins.

I really like what you got going on here. Although TB worries me because ATL is playing for playoff survival and CHI has Culter at QB. GL!
