Nope. The first year here, I was a little behind (showed up two months late), and I guess wanted to prove something to both the site, and myself. Thankfully it worked out well, otherwise I would've been broke.
However, if you look at last season, that is a better comparison of my normal playing style. 1-5 unit plays are the norm.

Not a major fan of this game, but it's the official start of the NFL season (FINALLY!!), and to make things exciting for all of us, we need some action at least! Really think it could go either way, but my edge does lie in Pittsburgh.

I hate teaser..tough enough to win one game..never mind two..
Anyhow..I like Tenn.+6 . I put 2 - units on this game. I usually bet between 1 and 4 units. So..obv. I like Tenn. more than most games. I didn't go over one unit this weekend (3-4). But I think Chris Johnson has a great game running the ball. Good luck. I look forward towards your advice this season

Not a big teaser guy myself. Generally play 6-7 max per season, and never more than a 2-teamer. However, I like it in this spot. I feel the total is low as it is, and Pitt should win, just not sure if they're going to cover. So, hopefully it's a high scoring game, and Pitt wins by 3, so we can both win tonight.

Thank god the season lasts longer than a day, not only for me, but both the Steelers and the Titans.... Horrible performances by both offenses.

When I talk to people, which is rarely, but I do sometimes, they ask, "so, do you have any picks for me tonight." I always respond the same, telling them I don't really even watch the games, my whole thing is more a "system" approach, but if you want good solid picks then check out sbrforum.com and look for chuteboxe, you can't go wrong there....
Oh, and I am on the Detroit Lions today (opposite your Saints), not that it matters, I have no idea if they are any good, I might actually watch the game for fun... lol, this is my first NFL season, hmm... maybe I should just follow your picks...

I like the picks Chute....I was debating putting the falcons pick on my card as well. The peoples money is on the Dolphins which kinda amuses me. I like the packers too but am waiting to see how the morning plays out before I jump on that. Saints I like but am worried about the Lions trying to come out and prove something this week. They wont win because they are the Lions but I am sure they have a lot of emotion built up for this game (bad news for them once they get it handed to them in week 1).
My card which is still open for more additions this morning is as follows:
Bengals -5 (-110) 2 units
Bengals vs Broncos over 42 (-110) 1 unit
Dallas -5 (-110) 2 units
Jags +7 (-110) 1 unit
Jags +250 to win .5 unit
BOL Chute....Looking forward to a profitable season.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a system approach. Diogee runs a great system for me in MLB that we developed at Rhino in Vegas last spring. While I wouldn't call my NFL picks a system, it is statistically based. That's why I tend to struggle in the beginning of each respective sports' seasons. I'm not an opinion based capper like most people. Anyways, enough about me, thank you very much for the nice compliments and recommendations to your friends, that's very cool of you. Best of luck in your first NFL season, hopefully we both win a lot of money.

Very happy to see that you added the Falcons play, and I hope you added the Packers as well. Sucks that we both missed out on the 2.5 to 1 Jags play, needed about 15 more yards for a FG, and it would've cashed. Dallas was a great play as well. Definitely looking forward to a profitable season, and seeing more of your picks. Keep up the hard work!
