Default NFL Season Win Totals I Really Like

Like a lot of the numbers I can get here, have fared well the past few years this year and hoping 2009 will be no different.

Arizona Cardinals Under 8.5 Wins (-135) to win 3 Units
The Cardinals are coming off of a shocking playoff run and a lot of people still like them to be a playoff team. I don't get that feel from them this year. Kurt Warner is aging and although I am not as down on him as some, I still feel there will be a decline in his performance. Although they did draft Beanie Wells to try to help the run game Beanie just hasn't shown me much in his college career. He seems to be more hype then anything and he is injury prone. The Seahawks will win the NFC West now that Matt Hasslebeck is healthy and I also love what Mike Singletary is doing with the 49ers. An improved division and games @ Seattle, New York (Giants), Chicago, Tennessee, and San Francisco should help keep the Cardinls to under 9 wins. Not to mention hosting the Colts, Packers, Panthers, Vikings, Seahawks, and Texans. Let the Super Bowl losers curse continue...
Arizona Cardinals 2009 Win Total: 7 Wins, 9 Losses

More to come and good luck to all this year.

Green Bay Packers Over 8.5 Wins (-145) to win 2 Units
The Packers are really poised for a nice year this year. Ryan Grant is healthy, Aaron Rodgers has another year under his belt, and I like the move to the 3-4 defense. If you watched some Packers games last year it was clear this team was capable of much more then what they accomplished. They lost 7 games by 4 points or less last year and really had a few tough breaks in some of those games. I like the way their schedule lines up this year as well. Most of their quality opponents have to come into Lambeau ultimatley giving the Packers the edge in most of these games. They have a few games they should win for sure (although nothing is for sure in this league), @ Stl, vs Cin, vs Det, @ Det, @ Cle, @ Tb. Out of those 6 games they should win atleast 4, I think they get 5 though. Then they have vs SF, vs Chi, vs Min, vs Bal, vs Sea, vs Dal, and @ Ari. I think 9-7 is very acheivable.
