Canadian Football Week 7
Calgary Stampeders vs. Edmonton Eskimos
Edmonton -1..........total 59
I think that Edmonton had a 12-0 lead against Hamilton and blew it last week. I also heard that the game should have gone way over.......damn. I hope it wasn't raining. Anyways, Calgary may have troubles stopping the run which bodes well for Ricky Ray. BUT......Edmonton defence are having alot of troubles getting to the quarterback with barely any sacks this year. Calgary is starting to wake up again and Edmonton starting to slip. I am going to make a small play on Calgary +1 this week.
The play:
Calgary +1.........small wager
Also: I don't think this game will be that high of a scoring game. No play though

BRITISH COLUMBIA LIONS vs. Toronto Argos
BC -2.5 ..........................total 46.5
2 teams that are 2-4 square off in Toronto. Joseph gets yanked for the kid Pickett. (Pick'em) Pickett has tried out for several NFL teams and failling to make any squad. Big win for BC last week as the defense comes up with 5 sacks and offence consistant. I actualy went to the game last week and made alot of money taking the Lions.... It was great. I also watched Toronto and Montreal at the airport and could not believe how bad Fu..ing Toronto is. They are so terrible, terrible, terrible. I just drooled when I saw that these two were playing this week. BC should have an easy time crushing the Argos. Lately, I have had alot of success in picking the BC spreads and totals....and will have the streak continue.
The play:
BC -2.5......in a cake walk
My definate play of the week
PS-----these games are not locks.
and always, good luck

In the CFL you are never a winner or loser until the game is officially over. I kind of like that! You like anything tonight

I was on BC -2.5 and I was chalking up the loss when that crazy last play happened. I love the CFL for crazy things like that! Feel sorry for Toronto backers though.
Who do you like in the Hamilton/Sask game? Everyone seems to be hitting Sask but I can't see why on earth Hamilton should be getting 6 against them. Should be more like sask -1 to -2 in my mind.

Sorry guys.........No play for the Winnipeg-Montreal Saturday game.
I'm starting to think that NFL is coming and the CFL has lost some interest. Thus, may not post plays. But if there is some interest I will continue to do so. For those who are having troubles and on the fence on some games. I will post for those people.
So, I will cap the Sunday game for the CFL.........And will post it Sunday some time before game time.

I'll third that. The CFL threads get kinda hard to find once the NFL preseason starts. But like someone said, money is money and I find the CFL more profitable than the NFL although limits are considerably lower.
I'm 2-0 so far this week, looking for Hamilton +5.5 to go 3-0.

You are so right Hulu....the limits are alot lower in the CFL.....but the good thing is, only 4 games a week, games usually spread out over a couple of days, and the books don't let you wager your entire bankroll on one game due to low limits. I kind of like this since I tend to double up huge if I lose a game or two in a row. My greedyness gets to me sometimes.....lol

Hamilton vs Saskatchewan
Sask -5.5 .......................total 51
Well, we come to the final game for this week in the CFL. I think we have our first Sunday game. This is the time of year when we see more Sunday games. The surprising Tigercats go into fan-crazed Saskatchewan. First off, there is no way I can choose -5.5/ +5.5.........I don't see an edge for any team. I do like the over though. This week, we have stayed away from the totals because I beleive another change is about to take place. Remember 4 weeks ago when I said the games are at a time in the season when defences get into the scheme of things...thus, alot more unders..........Well, it looks like we are getting another change. I usually don't expect this till the last 4 weeks of the season when the games really go over, including the first 2 round of playoffs.
Sask's Durant........hmmmmmm..Well, I watched him play last week in BC and don't know why he is a starter. He has a great arm and can throw under pressure while running, but is not that great of a pocket passer. (I see this with most of the QB's in the CFL....we have a bad breed of QB's throughout the whole league) Anyways, the Bagg kid did alright in the 4th quarter.
So tonight we hope for a shoot-out of back and forth football. 28-25 ish for someone.
The play:
over 51...............a medium size wager today (maybe 2 units for those into the unit thing...LOL)
