Default Look for Cincy to start there playoff push this week

I think they have a very good shot and possibly running the table to close out the season, with the acception of maybe that loss to Denver.

Heres my take on how this might play out for the Bengals.

I think they can recover from that heartbreaker they lost last week. They can beat the Saints, and should crush Cleveland. Baltimore is a very winable game for them, and Oakland won't even give them any problems. I could see them beating the Colts, just for the fact that Indy will most likely be sitting there players by then. That Denver matchup should be there loss during this streach drive, and then they will beat the Steelers to finish out the regular season.

    Heres Cincy's remain schedule:

Sun 11/19 at New Orleans 1:00 pm
Sun 11/26 at Cleveland 1:00 pm
    Thu 11/30 Baltimore 8:00 pm
    Sun 12/10 Oakland 1:00 pm
Mon 12/18 at Indianapolis 8:30 pm
Sun 12/24 at Denver 4:15 pm
    Sun 12/31 Pittsburgh 1:00 pm

I hate to disagree with you, my friend, and don't let my avatar fool ya! but I'm thinking that with Cincy's remaining schedule, they'll win maybe against Cleveland and Oakland; however, in the Superdome, I say the Saint take 'em down this week.

They'll need to start playing a lot better defense if they want to run the table, even with their remaining schedule.

Saints win this weekend in a track meet... Hard to play in the Superdome this year with the Saints re-charged fans! Bengals have no defense.
    Total way over...

When a team plays defense as bad as the Bengals, it brings the entire team down, especially on the road. I would be stunned if the Bengals even get to 9-7.

Even if they start rolling alittle look at those last three games. They will be lucky to win one of the three.

This is why they do not make the playoffs.

I'm liking the over in this game, too.

Looks like Cincy got there swagger back, and are surging for that playoff push. I know next weeks matchup against Baltimore will be a tough task, but I feel they will win that game as well.

I am liking the over for the colts/bengals matchup already. These high-scoring offenses have done very well for me this year.

I thought the Bengals were finished after the San Diego loss, but they have shown something winning two games in a row on the road.

I knew I went with Cleveland one too many times today, but how do you get shutout by the Bengals?

Good question, I thought they would light up their secondary today. I just can not win whenever I take Cleveland.

I think next weekends cincy/Baltimore game could be a shootout. Both those teams offenses are scoring some points.

    Dan,

Cincy's shutout of pathetic Cleveland not withstanding, Baltimore's defense is the difference in these two teams.

They almost shutout a great Baltimore team tonight though Doc. This team is making there run right now, and are looking very dominate too I might add.

Bengals are a explosive team, but I just dont see their defense keeping up this pace. You got to remember who they shut down....the Browns and a piss poor Ravens offense.

The Bengals have one of the smartest QB's in the NFL, so they should be fine. It will be a tough AFC playoffs. Manning, Brady and Palmer. You cant get any better then that.

Now, that I look at the rest of their schedule they could easily win out. They face a weak Oakland team; they won't look back in that game. Then, they got a struggling Colts team on Monday Night Football. That could be real interesting. I think Denver at home will be their toughest task, although they did not look all that great against the Seahawks last night. Lastly, they got a Pittsburgh team that will be blown away if it comes down to Cincinatti needing that game to get into the playoffs.

After looking at this weeks match up for the Bengals this week against the Colt a little bit more in depth, I feel they could beat Indy in this game.

There really gelling as a team right now, and everyone seems to be on the same page. There running and passing game are really flurishing right now, and there defense is playing awsume right now in regards to shutting everyone down.
