SBR Fantasy League?

So I'm pretty tired of flaky online leagues, and know there's some football nuts around here who are probably into fantasy. Would anybody be interested in starting a league?

Would like to see at least 10-12 teams personally I play in some 14 team leagues...that is tough drafting come 15th round. Count me in if you can pull this off.

I was thinking of using ESPN. Overall they have a better interface than Yahoo as far as free leagues go. Any problems with that?

I'm down but I've never participated in an online fantasy league. I usually do this with my friends and co-workers. Hope it's not too complicated.

OK I think I'm just going to set up the league and post the info here so we can get this thing rolling. We've got 6 right now and should be able to double that if we tell a few more people. Any opposition to this?

Hey everyone, I don't know exactly how teams can join the league, but I've created the ESPN league and set everything up. I think that if you log into your ESPN account you should just be able to join the league. Let me know if that doesn't work.

It's far from full, seeing as nobody has joined the league first. So head over to the league site and join! Or can somebody at least tell me if that will work?

Also, I don't know how we'd set up competing for money. Anybody got ideas?

It is set up as a private league so I am guessing that the only way others can join is if you send them an invitation as league owner. I have treid everything but cannot join - The league also doesn't show up on the search...???

OK, so I'm gonna need everybody's name and email address in that case. This is kind of a bummer because in order to have the customized settings that we wanted, so the league has to be private. So please post your name and email (or PM it to me if that'd be better) and I'll send you an invitation.

Hey guys, we've got six people confirmed for this 12+ person league. Let's fill it up! I'm also changing the draft time to 5:15 ET on September 1 so that our European people can be awake for the draft. If that's super problematic for somebody, let me know, but it's my only gap in class scheduling so I'm planning on just changing it to then.

True or untrue jjgold, I think it'd be more fun to get a fantasy league going with the sports nuts on this forum than with my flaky friends. So I'm giving it a shot.

Good luck making this happen. I pushed very hard earlier in the year for a Fantasy Baseball league and everyone dropped out before draft.

As of right now myself, kingoctb27, and untiltheendoftime, are in a $105 pay league but it is already full. Keep in touch with us for future leagues though.
