    Lesson #1: Here is the reason why you should never bet teasers!

    It always seems to happen to me too!

    I dont bet teasers often, but the last 2 times that I did it at 5Dimes, ALL GAMES WON on the regular spread. The points were a waste of money

    You do not take advantage of teasers, that is why you feel they are bad. You go thru 0, and buy too many bad numbers and not enough good ones.

    Teasing a favorite to a dog. Like if you teased a 5 point favorite to a 2 pt. dog, you "crossed thru 0". There are so many dead numbers on both sides of 0 that it is rarely worth it. My question for people though, what if you go through both threes, does that make it acceptable or still not?

    turning a favorite (-3) to a dog (+3), you are paying for 2 points from -1 to +1 when is really only 1 point because -0.5, PK and +0.5 are all the same thing

    Yea in this situation if you didn't want to lay points, you probably shoulda parlayed the MLs. I think all were around -200, which would have paid out about 2000 rather than the 1267 you got.

    You could also simply add a small parlay of the teams picked. That way it doesn't happen and you can hit the 25-1 odds.

    Not true either. Stick with either Wong Teasers, teasing -6 or -6.5 if it is cheaper than playing ML, and some special 5 Dimes only (as far as i know) teasers.

    Actually, one of the special 5 Dimes teasers DOES go through 0, it is the one and only exception as far as I know.
