early on Monday I played 3 sides: CAR-3 (line from before MNF), KC-3 (line from before Knight Rider announcement) and
    SD-8.5

Love the Saints -1, got it early at Pinnacle. They should beat Balt by at least a TD

man the Saints play seems like a trap. Both teams coming off a bye. Why would they be favoured by less than a touchdown at home in the Superdome when their record is 5-1and they've been lights out at home. They even beat Philadelphia at home, so the oddsmaker is saying Baltimore is in the same league as Philadelphia?????

Baltimore's Steve McNair is questionable with a concussion but doesn't matter if Boller or McNair starts, there offense sucks, like 29th ranked offense or something. Baltimore's lost it's last 2 games and won it's first 4 games Oakland, Tampa Bay, Cleveland and some other winning percentage team I think.

If money rains down on the Saints and the line doesn't move to a field goal or more in favoured of Saints, this smells a trap play. But like a mouse I've taken the cheese for my biggest unit play of 3 units.

O.K. Until they prove me wrong I am going to stay on the OVER for all Jets games. So my picks for this week are as follows:

    NYJ/Cle over 37.5
    Ind +2.5
    Pit/Oak over 38.5

Is it just me, or is this the most difficult week so far to handicap? I wouldn’t touch 70% of these games this week.

Aside from Carolina, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Giants and Bears; I can’t envision a clear winner for the rest of the games.

    Let’s take a look shall we;

Houston/Tennessee; Is anyone really going to touch this one?

Jags/Eagles; I realize literally half the Jags starting lineup is “questionable”, but who are the Eagles to give them 7 points?

    Falcons/Bengals; No thank you

Cards/Packers; Could be the only game all season the Packers find themselves favorites. This game has disaster written all over it.

Ravens/Saints; This should be a good one to watch on tv, but gun to my head I couldn’t pick a winner here.

Rams/Chargers; Absolutely astounding the Chargers are fav’s by 9 points here. Someone knows something.

Jets/Browns; Two equally matched teams. Can go either way.

Colts/Broncos; Enough has been said about this game on here that I don’t have to reiterate.

Watch the weather on this one guys.....looked like rain/wind as of yesterday...if the weather stays this way I gotta take the under....also I am surprised everyone likes the Jets away. I am a true Jets fan, but I can't see them walking into Cleve and taking this one. Cleve plays very solid at home.

they are 2-4 ATS at home
they are 1-5 SU at home

    and

No argument here, but correct me if I am wrong they got blown out of 1 game this year at Cin, they only lost by 10 to Denver. Balt lost by 1 pt at home, lost by 5 to NO at home, they hung with Carolina in Carolina.....Now we have the Jets that won 4 games....Tenn, Buff, Miami, and Det......WOW some impressive teams they beat??????

Listen I am a true Jets fan and I can not see the Jets going into Cleve, with windy conditions, as of today, and putting on Chad throwing those rainbow passes. The Dog pound is still the Dog pound and something tells me they are going to be ready for the mediocore JETS.

    nah....

    check this out

THE nfl needs the jets to keep NE honest in the afc east. Typicalled you'd expect the jets to poop out on the road after beating the lions home in week 7, but these many not be the same jets you remember. of, these may not be the same jets opponents. In games pitting dogs vs dogs, some dog must win and /or cover right ? despite their shortcomings these jets have shown a toughness on both offense and defense that many nfl teams lack. the browns havent really shown much of anything. injuries have decimated whatever early existed but coash crennel and company must be resigned to playing out the string and making whatevr progress they can. not only have they consistently missed members of their def, reuben droughns has been ineffective all season long, putting the onus on Charlie Frye to put up points. combine that with a weak off line and you can see why we have no had a pick on the browns this season. this should be a close one but the jets have a bye week and a match up w NE pending.........

i got that from this sports reporters thing my friend prints out from work every week and they were 8-3-1 last week

they like the jets winning 20-17, another thing my friend prints out from work they also like the jets by 1....me myself i also like the jets, i cant see them loosing to the browns...

All valid points and I guess if I am the only one thinking Cleve is going to win, than I guess I am wrong. I still like the under here.

    lol.

the over under this game is tough

i found some more stats that are appealing

CLEV went UND 18 out of 25 games...
CLEV went UND 9 out of 12 at home...

CLEV played in 4 UNDER games in october in 2005...

if they weather is going to be bad like you said then the under is a good play i think....i have OVR 39, UND 37, i do this thing with my friend, his boss has sheets at his work and its that type of thing...
Jets BTW against Conff opp 6-0 OU
and playing on grass it is 6-0 OU

so i dont kno if im leaning towards the over or under this game is a tough one

Ouch...we have all been there, but don't kill yourself with too many stats. I have won 57 NFL games so far this year, but I am playing with a small bank so the winnings are small...a few bucks here a few bucks there. Keeps the games interesting. I know it has been all over these boards but a 2 team teaser I was looking at was KC and SD. Bring them both down a few points and take them. I think KC is going to win big this week, and SD should cover.

yea i wish i could, thats all i used to do is teasers bc i dont trust line makers at all, there all out to get everyone and theres a reason why games are what they are....i cant do teasers anymore bc i have no money in my account and i refuse to deposit any after loosing last week. right now me and my friend just bet with these things he gets from work its pretty cool, you can win more money than screw u over sportsbook....

Love the picks...windy conditions forecasted for the Meadowlands this weekend, so your NYG under looks like the way to go.
