Default Johnny Boy's Monday Night Football Selection

    N.Y. Giants at Dallas 8:30 p.m.

So, they think they got Terrell Owens under control. Yeah Right! You can not leash this dog. The Giant's defense has what it takes to stop the running and passing game of the Cowboys. It's all about the Giant's offense getting their shit together. Even last week the Giants rolled over Atlanta 27-14 as a 3-point underdog. The combined score fell just UNDER the posted over/under total (41.5).

    Prediction: N.Y. Giants +3.5

I agree with the winner - My brain can't get the right number for over/under, but as always, OVER seems to be my lean.
    I don't like either D a whole lot.

Default Dallas 26.5 vs NY Giants 18

Expect Dallas D to crowd line of scrimmage and stop developing potent Giant ground game.

Forcing Giants to beat Dallas with passing game.

On a neutral field ...these teams would match up evenly.

question marks: would be Bledsoe's consisitency...no better QB in the game when Bledsoe is in stride(Manning, Palmer and Brady included)

Bledsoe reminds one almost of Tommy Kramer...when he is good, he is very, very good....

...but when he is bad...he is horrid.

Dallas's trenches on offense and defense "belly up to the bar" in this game.

Injury-wise...Giants are a little more dinged up than Dallas

    Giants 18
    Dallas 26'

Dallas to win by 8.5...... total score= 44.5

You dont expect NY to get a td the whole night with 18 total points? 2 TD'S 2 safeties lol? 1 td, 3 fgs and a safety?

iduno seems like most evryone thats playing a total tonight is going under. what is it thats pointing this game in that direction?
i really dont have a strong enough opinion on the over other then to make a small action bet but as far as it looks an over can relatively be expected, no?

Dallas up 26-10, NY scores and converts 2 pointer to pull within 8.

I can't agree with you on that one either. Bledsoe is a joke; he just has weapons that make him look good. Manning controls not only the clock, but his team.

Default Monday Night Review - Johnny Boy

Well I called the Giants win right... but tanked on the Under... Close one though

    Monday Night Review:
Big D: Giants' defense leads team over Cowboys...

Tiki Barber had 146 all-purpose yards, and the New York defense tortured Dallas with six sacks, four interceptions and a touchdown as the Giants easily bested the Cowboys, 36-22. The win marked the first time in franchise history that the Giants (4-2) beat the Cowboys (3-3) on Monday night at Texas Stadium. Barber, who indicated his plans to retire after the season earlier this week, had 114 yards rushing and another 32 receiving for the Giants, who won their third straight game and took over first place in the NFC East. The dynamic running back is now just 60 receiving yards away from joining Marcus Allen and Marshall Faulk as the only players in NFL history with 9,000 career rushing yards and 5,000 receiving...
