Meanwhile, on the other coast, Billick fires Jim Fassel.

How potent was that '98 Vikings offense?

Strong enough to unleash two seemingly bulletproof and truly colossal egomaniacs on the league for another decade or so.

That's a shame. I like Fassel, and does anyone really believe their offense will be better off without him?

I can't say I blame Green for going off about last nights game. I think that lost on MNF would make any free agent think twice before signing with this organization.

how many of these were his fault?
    1) the blindside sack of Leinart that led to Mike Brown’s 3-yard fumble return for a touchdown
2)the 40-yard return of Edgerrin James’ fumble by Charles Tillman for another score.
    3)Devin Hester’s 83-yard punt return for the go-ahead touchdown.
4)Neil Rackers’ miss of a 41-yard field goal attempt with 53 seconds to play (his second)..

Apparently, the first two were the fault of the offensive coordinator.

Has anyone checked to make sure that the special teams coach is still breathing?

That one you cant really blame on Edgerrin James. You have to give Brian Urlacher his props for ripping the ball out from behind. He put his all into getting that ball loose. Nothing really Edgerrin James could do.
