Default DH's NFL game of week

For the first time since, I think, 1996 we're back in Phoenix for MNF, and if my system is correct this will be a game the Cardinals would rather forget about.

To be fair, the Cardinals have had some close losses. They're not as bad as everybody thinks. The home games against STL and KC were lost by 2 and 3 pts, and with a little more experience Arizona would have won both. This time, however, it won't be close. Demolition is paying a visit to the desert. The number one defense against one of the shakiest O-lines in recorded history means Leinart: Welcome to the big time baby!

Leinart doesn't have Fitzgerald to throw to, which will make it even harder for Edge to get a couple of yards here and there. Interceptions are looming deliciously large here.

If he has watched the film, Grossman will throw deep left early and often. Opposing quarterbacks have been feasting madly on this part of Arizona's defense.

    Take CHI -10

I took it early in the week; line has gone up since. It probably won't matter. I'm not really playing on Chicago, but am heavily fading Arizona in this spot. Cardinals should be F-L-A-T. Backed by a 19-1 angle dating back to last season, and an overlay of 27 pts.

I think this one is a no-brainer no? Who in the world is going to pick the Cards to win this game?

ARIZ has 0% chance of winning this game.

The Bears are flirting with going 16-0 this season. They will not fall asleep at the wheel in this game...

agreed under looks tempting but i felt the same way last week and Chi went over themselves ...Bears on a mission for sure, and will certainly show up for prime time.

Chicago should pound Arizona, but just remember they head out to the east coast for a three game stretch. If they come through that without a loss, they have an excellent chance to go 16-0.

Certainly at +11.5, perhaps a small nibble on the moneyline. This game will be decided in the final five minutes, probably in favor of Chicago, but I can easily seeing the Cardinals winning Monday night.

    Razz,

You may be right, but I just don't see it.

I don't see how the Cards are going to score against the Bears. Arizona moved the ball pretty well last week against KC, but we all saw what the Steelers did to the KC defense today. And the Bears are just destroying people.

I know that's why they play the games, but I don't see the Cards winning this game outright. I think it will be a moral victory if they cover the spread.

grossman INT's is the only thing keeping ARZ in it

people have been stacking the line vs bears and grossman has been throwing it over their heads

they have to have learned by now to not stack the line so much

the db's for ARZ are gonna have to gamble

leinart is gonna have to throw it deep and pray for some big ones or some flags

if the bears get on them early then ARZ can forget it

i like da bears but i have a bit of bias

I wouldn't be shocked if ARIZ kept this close. You know how the Bears are once people start believing in them that is when they take a shit.. But they won't lose this one...

    GL everyone!!!

i had a good weekend i'm not gonna ruin it but putting any money on this game. The cards alot better off with their rookie qb but against the toughest defense in the nfl? then again the cards are at home and no one is giving them a chance. i think the bears will win this game but you should expect the cards to keep it close. The bears will have a letdown sometime before the season is out when it will happen is the question.

i think this line will go up monday to 13 or so........everything is bears bears bears.........I think they can be beaten but a team would need a balanced offense to control the clock something zona doesnt have.

man why does everyone think the Bears are a 16-0 type team. Just because they are 5-0 and blown out Green Bay, Detroit, Minnesota, Seattle and Buffalo? Except for Seattle all those other teams have the worst pass defense that can make any quarterback look good.

I'll make my judgement when they play a good defensive team like Baltimore that has problems on offense.

I to you Razz! You were all over this one and I was wrong.

Grossman couldn't possibly have played worse. Only the Bears great second half D., a great punt return, and the Arizona Cardinals doing what they do best kept me from being completely hosed on the evening.

I won two of my teasers that had the Bears winning and lost my Bears -6/under 48 teaser.

You nailed it, Razz. Good call!
