Strange indeed, almost as strange as the second post that was originally here which I diverted to the Poker Forum.

Anyway, the ratings just prove the old adage that there are three kinds of lies in the world: Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics.

I realized it, but I still can't believe it. It's been one whacky year in football this year, so i'm not suprised.

I was too late anyways. Somebody snagged him an hour before I logged onto yahoo.

Well Fitzgerald is out for a few weeks so that may hurt Carr until he comes back.

And I guess the injury to Andrew Bogut will hurt Damon Huard until he comes back

Yeah, you've got a great offense out there in Houston when you look at Carr's good numbers and having Reggie Bush in the backfield...oops.

At least Williams is shoring up their defense real nicely.

I just hope they're able to replace Andre Agassi at receiver.

I just picked up Bledsoe off waivers in my fantasy league. Should light up the Houston's defense. Than you can drop him next game.

You mean, "Should light up the eyes of Houston's defense."

I'm sure they can't wait to get their chance at the 4 potential picks he throws each game. Then there's always the possibility he'll park himself in the pocket long enough to make Mario Williams look like he actually should have been selected before Reggie Bush.

I think it's only slightly unrealistic to expect the Texans defense to score 2 touchdowns this Sunday.

I like Carr's mobility. That's about the only positive. Sorry.

And who would have thought Frank Gore would be tied for 1st in rushing? I knew he was going to be good this season but not on top of rushing in week 5. Whoever said Kevan Barlow is better than Gore is just crazy. I'm not naming names here

After watching Gore run like a monster with 2 bad shoulders last year you honestly thought he wouldn't lead the league in rushing this year? To shame.

If Jonas Jenning's sorry @$$ could stay healthy and Larry Allen to he'd have a 2000 yard year

That won't last. Manning will be #1 at the end of the year

Not sure about #1, but Eli is already #3. I would assume when the year is over, his passer rating will far exceed Carr and Huard.
