    Default DH's NFL game of week

    Carolina -7 (bought 1/2 pt)

    With Steve Smith back since a week, Carolina is only now starting to find itself. The wait for a convincing game from one of the preseason favorites has been longer than expected. But the wait is over. They're about to blow Cleveland back to the rock'n'roll museum.

    Based on an intensity angle I use, this is mostly a FADE Cleveland game, but it should make Carolina look real good (also used it on SEA destroying NYG, and CHI annihilating SEA). Cleveland just won't show up here.


    Football season to date:
    NFL 26-21 (19-14 sides)
    NCAAF 24-12

    Good luck, backed them last week and saw them surrender that long TD late, and didn't like the way they were sleepwalking through that game for 55 of the 60 minutes.

    Another team that qualifies for the flat-factor , and is ready for an old fashioned azz-whipping are the NYJ.

    JAX -6.5 is the play.


    (Is it possible to enter NFL picks for beat the prick on Saturday night? I don't finalize most of my NFL picks until then).

    Really like the Jags here and the spot. Not too enthused about Carolina but the Jags, I agree, are the play in this spot. Good luck to you.

    I already played Carolina in a tease and had a strong lean on Jax. I'm liking them more now. Thanks for the info DH.

    The official Prick Picks deadline is listed as Saturday 11am EST in the rules . . . I don't know if they'll bend that. Last night I went in to try and cast my picks late and the entry form wouldn't come up . . .

    I'm asking because with your other pick for example I'd
    take CAR up to -8 1/2 (I'd even consider up to -9 1/2).

    Now I'm with you on JAX - 6 1/2 but once it goes to 7
    or 7 1/2 I start re-thinking with the NYJ wheras I don't
    start re-thinking with CLEV @ CAR . . .

    What do you think of NYJ + 7 1/2 (it's a hypothetical question

    My pool has Jax -7.5

    I've got Jax. Bad call? I'm starting to rethink it since it'll mean They basically need to beat NYJ by a TD and a FG.

    Not sure now if Jax can beat Pennington by 10 points...

    (Sorry, I didn't see the question Checkerboard. Worked until about 5 AM. My weekly NFL playbook has grown to 22 pages. lol).
