    WpgCapper CFL picks

Hey guys, first time poster on your forum, just stumbled across it seems to be good conversation. Huge NFL fan but as a Canadian I feel I can fill in some CFL picks during the NFL offseason.

Just wanted to jump in with my week 3 picks going forward.

    5 units: Wpg +1.5

    2 units: BC/SSK over 54

    5 units: Ham -3.5

I personally lucked out last night. Riding 2 different 2 game parlays into tonight

    500 on (Calgary +7, Wpg +1.5)
    500 on (Cal/Mon ovr 56, Wpg +1.5)

Anyways good luck to everyone! Happy betting

Key injuries for Winnipeg: Alex Suber and Brandon Stewart both in the secondary has caused a domino effect resulting in changes to 4 of the 12 defensive positions. 2 new substitutes and 2 players playing out of their usual position.

Key injury for Edmonton: Adarius Bowman out indef. - big play stretch receiver now leaves now release for star wr Fred Stamps, Wpg can now freely double Stamps all game.

    500 on (Calgary +7, Wpg +1.5)
    500 on (Cal/Mon ovr 56, Wpg +1.5) ?

if i had this 2 parlay pending im not gonna gamble like u to put another single 500 on Wpg +1.5 i rather to put 1500 on Edmonton -1.5 to make sure i still win some money after the game final and i dont have to watch the game...anyway good luck man..but im on Edmonton side

Thanks for the advice. That's what I'm going to do. I'm putting 1000 on edmonton to insure. I'll be up 2k if winnipeg wins even if they lose.

My 5 units on winnipeg is what I would pick today if not for these parlays.

Put 1.5K and u can make 1500 or 500 its better than 2k or even heheh

    On trading Ricky Ray:

“Honestly, I would probably not,” Tillman said. “I would have listened to my wife, who begged me not to make the trade because she talked about the fact that we had just gone 11-7 [in 2011], that we could actually have an off-season where I might be semi-popular in Edmonton for change, and to stay status quo.”

Haha props to everyone who backed EDM. Well played. Thats all I can manage to say

Well we took a licking last night. Once again props to anyone who played Edmonton. Not sure anyone predicted that sort of route. The turnovers were absolutely ridiculous the bombers looked like a scared high school team. Disappointing.

So we start the thread -550

    Well bounce back today though.

BC SSK is moving in the right direction so I'm bumping it up to 5 units and we're adding Toronto game under for 3 units.

    Updates week 3 picks:

    5 units - Wpg + 1.5 - loss -550

    5 units - BC/SK over 52.5
    5 units - Ham -3.5
    3 units - Tor/Ham under 56.5

    Good luck to everyone!

British Columbia vs. Saskatchewan - 3:06 left Qtr 1 - after trading fgs BC strikes deep about 70 yards, first play. 10-3 BC

  20. #20

British Columbia vs. Saskatchewan - 14:33 left Qtr 2 - Saskatchewan misses a FG, BC returns it out to about the 10. Still 10-3 BC.

Injury note: SSK WR Rob Baggs seems to hurt his hamstring, doesn't look great - Note: Saskatchewan has only dressed 5 WRs today, oddly low. If bags doesn't come back will keep SSK out of most 5WR sets.

Incredible catch by Dressler after a Sask interception. 13-10 Saskatchewan

After taking a few days to lick my wounds from last week I passed up the WPG/TOR game. No feel for it especially with the game being on a Wednesday. Time to get some winners going though:

    5 units - Calgary -3.5
    3 units - SSK/CAL over 52.5
    5 units - EDM/BC over 48.5

No feel yet for the Monteal/Hamilton game but 59.5 seems awfully high

  24. #24

    5 units - Wpg + 2
    3 units - Wpg game over 45

Well I'll be more then happy to take a win-push and move on from that game. Nightmare game for gamblers. So many odd plays. Still don't know what happened on that blocked punt play. Seemed odd live. I'll have to wait to see the replays on tv to hear an explanation.

On a non gambling note it was a great atmosphere live. Winnipegs defense seemed to really thrive off the crowd. Good night as a bomber fan to finally pick up a win. Feel bad for a lot of betters though. Rough/odd game

Moving onto Friday and Saturdays games.

5* - Montreal game over 58: Montreal's defence doesn't look as though it could stop anyone. Ray and Calvillo lead the league in passing yards. Hoping air show.

10* - Toronto +3.5: Calvillo has been taking some hits lately. Starting to feel like maybe some of the shine is being lost from Montreal. They seem very beatable. Also despite some weak recent performances I still believe Toronto is the best team in the east at the moment.

10* - Saskatchewan game under 56: Hamilton is a perfect 4-0 to the over so far this year. Don't see them getting to 5-0

    Saturday:
3* - Saskatchewan -3.5: Not too confident on this one. Hamilton has been playing great offensively lately. Even after that crazy loss to calgary I'm high on saskatchewan, they did manage to grab a 17 point lead in that one early on. Expect them to find a way to pull it off at home. The way Sask has been controlling the turnovers I think should be huge. Hamilton has put points up off of huge turnovers and massive special teams plays every week if Sask controls those areas they should be able to win this one.

5* - Calgary -1: BC easily could bounce back, hard to imagine them losing 3 straight but they just seem a bit lost offensively so far. Basically relying on only Andrew Harris to move the chains. Edmonton taking out half of BCs defence certainly helps Calgary. I'm just gonna stick with the trend of riding home teams.

    Goodluck!

I'm not sure why we still play CFL. 13-7 at half for Sask. takes 20 minutes to score 41 points. So choked

Until it isn't... that is one of the grossest beats in a long time.. I'll never knock your bet though, I've made those more than once...
