The problem with teasers, is they make both the fav and the dog look like solid picks. Once you start thinking that both sides of the same game should pay, you know you're playing with fire.

There are plenty of good mathematical teasers. I hate to say it, but these plays as a whole will lose. If you want to win at teasers, you have to live and die by the mathematics.

Sick teaser right there - especially with the change.
KC is a tough place to play, but there is HUGE uncertainty with a nobody QB and a depleted running game (I'm sorry, no one is making a big enough deal about them losing TWO starting tackles AND a top 5 fullback - that takes away their bread+butter running game). While their D is running good, I really like the switch --- a LOT.

Actually... In thinking about the spreads, the only other game that would concern me, a bit MORE, that is... Is Carolina's # in the teaser.
It's really a coin toss which to move out... But Carolina, while 'statistically' is dominated by the Saints, they should be good for an easy cover.
I personally think you were working with an over-bloated Carolina spread to begin with... That spread is actually pissing me off, because it's begging me to take NO.

That said, I think Washington is a lock to cover the +16, even if I doubt they'll win. Very solid choice there. That game probably won't crack 40, let alone 30... That plays right into that spread.

I think Seattle and Ohio St are iffy in your teaser (call me nuts, but maybe even Balt - but much less likely). Of course, something crazy will happen and I'll look stupid in saying that. OSU getting points is NUTS - but Iowa really wants a piece. I think OSU crusies and covers the regular spread, but they ALWAYS have 1 letdown game in the big ten. If it ain't Michigan... Well, it's usually the other powerhouse in the conference. I'm just waiting for that one bad game they put up.... It always happens (aside from that 1 time... heh).

Seattle - while I think can put up some points on ANYONE due to their receiving core depth and Hasselbeck's mobility - I can see THEM having a huge emotional letdown.
I'd much prefer the Bears +the teaser points in that spot. That's me, though.
I usually miss 1 on teasers, which is why I don't play them. It's usually the game you least suspect - and right now, I can't tell you what that game is.

Also - with that many points, Miami is a mortal lock.. perhaps that would be a good replacement for a game you might be on the fence about.

hehe, you pull out a couple of teasers that I'm drooling over - despite the fact I _can't_ play them (I'm not profitable playing them, I'll leave it at that - then again - I go for bigtime long odd teasers when I take a shot and then miss one. It's my mantra). I just won't allow myself to lose anymore than I already have on them... Heh

I appreciate the complement. The NFL is what I spend my year on (I rarely bet other sports).
I probably watch more NFL football than anyone NOT working in the NFL heh. I'd at worst be in the top 10 (I'd put money on that=) ).
I hope I can help when I can - and try to open my mouth ONLY when I have a thought that is well thought out (not always articulated well, though). I don't want to just talk to talk... I want to at least help.

But to hell with all that - it's a blast watching your teasers. I havn't disagreed with a pick yet. It's like ME picking them but not putting up the money, for once!

Sometimes crossing the zero is ok.. But getting +6.5 is not the right thing to do..
