1) What "classic divisional spot" are you talking about? "The divisional team covers 75% of the time"? WHAT divisional team? How are the Panthers more ripe in this voo-doo trend?

As a fan of another division rival, I hate the Chargers too frost, but its pretty clear you are too blatantly biased against them to formulate any fair opinion on the game.

I'm pretty confident the Panthers will win in a rout. It should be a 38-17 type of thrashing.

Steelers will prolly score something like 17-20 pts, if lucky. Give the Chargers a TD at the very least and you've got at least a push out of this. Of all the road dogs this weekend, the Chargers are prolly in the best spot to get the 'W' and advance.... and they have the 2nd highest spread.

I saw it on TV when CNN was interviewing some guy in the Bay Area who runs an 'investment firm' off of sports betting. They crunch all kinds of numbers and one of the best bets they noted statistically was the divisional playoff performance of rested higher seeds vs. low performing lower seeds.

I'd have to search on the web to find the guy and the info... but I had seen it mentioned elsewhere before that guy.

If you think about it, this is the perfect spot with Carolina. The line is at 10/9.5 for a reason. This is the thrashing game.

Then you can always put your winnings on San Diego ATS. Your entire bet, the way you define it, is based on getting the Chargers from 6.5 to 13. Good point if you see a blowout bet the blowout. I agree with Driller it will be over in the AZ game by the third Q. The only thing I would be scared of is a backdoor cover against a running team. Carolina had New Orleans blown out in there last game of the season. They went into running mode was they got the big lead. This is the playoffs teams will play hard the whole game even if they are down. There up by 14 late touchdown cover is the only thing the scares me.

If you think Boldin cant play take the 10. He had 2 touchdown 63 yards. My book has it at 9.5
