2* Rutgers -1 vs. Pittsburgh

At the beginning of the season, this was one of the weekday matchups I was looking forward to, thinking Rutgers would have an opportunity to pull an outright upset as a 7-10 point underdog. My, how everything has changed. Rutgers is flat out the better team, and with six consecutive losses to Pittsburgh, they will be plenty fired up to beat a Panther team that has already given up on this season.

This team has unbeatable recently when their record is .500. Now they are 1-game over .500. Their main goal has been to finish above .500, and a win today would go a long way towards that goal. We’ll see how they handle the pressure against a Pirates team that just won two from the Cubs.

2* Yankees (Wang) +103 @ Red Sox (Wells)
We think the Yankees get to dorme today, as they match up with Wells much better than the Red Sox match up with Wang. The Red Sox have only faced Wang for a total of 4.2 innings early this season, scoring two runs. They have struggled this season with pitchers they are unfamiliar with. The Red Sox bullpen, terrible to begin with, is very tired.
