    Default MNF Philly/Cle

    Early thoughts on MNF?

The Eagles are my team, but i'm thinking 14 is too many for them to be giving up. Am considering the over. Does anyone know what the weather is supposed to be for that game?

    Who does everyone like?

I am not sure that Cleveland will be able to score on Philly all night.

You either have to go with Philly and the Under or Cleveland and the Over if you are thinking parlay.

I think Cleveland will score less than 10 points all game, and I think that may be generous.

Wouldn't touch this game. Won't watch either. After 12 hours of football on Sunday, I'll pass this one.

my thoughts exactly. The Colts were -17 vs. Lions and look what happened. Donavan isn't exactly the most proficient qb, throws picks in pressure situations. May reverse my current cashout, up nice, waiting till playoffs, bowl season, and put a sizeable amount on Cle. Or not.

This is a Browns team playing with a 3rd string quarterback Dorsey.....in Philly....on a Monday night....against a team trying to stay in the playoff race. No Winslow either. Only chance is Jamal Lewis has a GREAT night running against the Eagles 8th ranked run defense. He had 7 carries and 7 yards last week. Braylon Edwards still in the lineup though.

Browns get 1 offensive TD at MOST. Only way they stay in this game is if they get some turnovers for TDs from their 26th ranked defense. Which they actually have a good take-away to turnover ratio, sitting at +8.

Under looks good. No way the Browns put up any points. Last 3 games they put up 6, 6, and 9. And that's with Quinn, Anderson, and Dorsey throwin. Don't think Eagles put up more than 27 points either.

    Eagles 27 - Browns 10

Know nothing about Football - but this season i've been infected once again by this exotic sport.
    Posters here talking about "16"
I guess that is the number of teams with a better performance in RS than Philadelphia. (will be exactly 16, you'll see)

Phillys is predominat, a "100% winner" - and all that rhetoric..... IMO that's a kind of match where it's easy to lose money. I bet, that its not that easy tonight.

I'll try 1st Q Cleveland +3,5 and decide the rest ingame.

By the way: These 16 Teams will have a better winnig percentage than Philadelphia at the end of regular season 2008:
Dallas, NE, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, NY Giants, Denver, Carolina, Arizona, Minnesota, TT, Tampa Bay, NY Jets, Baltimore, Atlanta, Miami and also Washington.

hmm - could be a cool bettype

4eigner is english not your first language? whats a "pegamewinner"? and its "lose" money not "loose" money, but don't worry about that last one, the majority of the people on this board aren't smart enough to spell that correctly

and by my count, there are 13 teams with a better % than them, so you may be right about the 16

Although the Lions were +17 dog, that line is really deceiving. The Colts were playing against a Lions team that desperately needed that win. The Lions gave everything they got in that game, that's why the score was so close. They were giving their 100%.

The Browns have not such motivation going against a team that has everything to lose. The Eagles will bring their A game and try to crush the Brown will to battle early. This might be a long day for Dorsey who's missing their more reliable receiver in Winslow.
