NFL Week 14: Sundays Power Plays
Looking to rebound this week after a pitiful 8-8 performance last week. Last week was the only week in the NFL that I did not turn a profit. I got seven strong plays for you on tap, here we go:
Sundays Power Plays
Chicago Bears -6.5
Baltimore Ravens -5
New York Giants -7
New York Jets -4
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3
Pittsburgh Steelers -3
New England Patriots -6
Writes ups soon to follow....... stay tuned!

Small Play on San Diego -9 tonight!
San Diego Chargers -9 (1 Unit)
The Chargers have trouble against the pass and they can't seem to rush the QB this year, but Oakland cant throw the ball. Strangely enough, SD sacked Oakland six times and caused 2 turnovers in the first game they played this year, figure that one out? They also held Oaklands RB's to 68 rushing yards on the ground. Raiders, on the other hand are 24th versus the run. If there was ever a game for LT to breakout, it's thonight!
Prediction: Chargers 30, Raiders 16

Write Ups, Straight to the point with no BS or meaningless trends/stats!
As long as SD -9 holds, which they should, we'll have a good start this week!
7 Power Plays
Chicago Bears -6.5, I had Minnesota as a top play last Sunday, as I knew that was an extremely tough spot for the Bears. The good news is that the Bears played a solid 1st half in Minnesota and now they get to feast on the Jaguars. Has anyone else noticed how bad this team is? I never liked Jacksonville as a team and have always tried to bet against them, case in point, Houston was another one of my top plays last week as well! Jacksonville might have put forth the most pathetic effort I have ever seen. Don't expect anything better this week!
New York Giants -7, Phily beats Arizona at home in a desperation game that the Cardinals really didn't need and now everyone's ready to jump on the eagles again, right? Not me. The Giants have played some of the best football (on both sides of the ball) that I've seen in a real long time. This weeks game is a statement game, without the jerk that is. I think the Giants are out to prove something here, the G-Men will prove to everyone that they can smash a top tier opponent without dickheads like Burress. They were part of my top play card last week and I can't leave them out this week either. GIANTS BIG!
New York Jets -4, The Jets got caught last week and simply put, they were completely out-classed & out-coached. I took Denver at 8.5 last week because #1 that spread was way too f****** high and #2 the Jets were due for a let down. This week's spread is not too high and the Jets wont get caught here. Look for the Jets to take out their frustrations on SF. I still haven't gotten over that Buffalo game yet. The Jets will not squander the opportunities that Buffalo did last week. The Jets are nearly perfect in the red-zone this year. Hey Buffalo, YOU SUCK!
Pittsburgh Steelers -3, I don't know about you guys but in my opinion, Dallas still looks like a soft/finesse-like team. I can not for the life of me see Dallas winning a game in Pittsburgh, "in December." I went against Pitt last week, but not this week. Pittsburgh showed me a lot last week in NE. They are a much tougher team than Dallas.
New England Patriots -6, NE really disappointed and just out right disgusted me last week at home vs. Pittsburgh. The good thing is they're not playing Pittsburgh again this week, they're up against a team with essentially nothing to play for. Pride doesn't exist in the NFL, and I like NE by a BIG NUMBER here!
Baltimore Ravens -5, What the hell has Washington done this year to merit this spread??? A 5 point dog on the road in Baltimore is a joke. They should be getting at least +7. Can someone explain this one to me. Baltimore jumps all over Washington in this one!
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3, I really like this game. I have already expressed my opinion of Garcia, I honest the believe he's a top QB in the league and by far the most underrated QB in the NFL. TB with Garcia is more than a formidable team. Last week's game vs. NO wasn't nearly as close as the score would have you believe. TB physically dominated NO on both sides of the ball and held Drew Brees in check, for the most part. Carolina won a big game in GB, YES THEY DID, but how many times has Carolina beat a team on the road in dramatic fashion only to come home and lose the next week??? Sometimes to crap teams too!!! Carolina is the most inconsistent team in the NFL from week to week. I absolutely love the Bucs in this spot.
Lets get em! GL

Let's Stomp em this week laxdjock. Last week really pissed me the f*** off, after going 4-0 on my selections Thanksgiving, only to have Sunday kick me square in the a**!

I had a nice run early in the week, gave it all back on turkey day, and then won some of it back on Sunday.
I feel solid about the picks.....I think it will be a chalk week for them.

What book do you use....5dimes has better lines for a few of those games (not sure if they still are around, as they were creeping up when I laid my bets yesterday).

with you on almost every pick here, except I did 2 team 6 point teasers across the board
Baltimore Ravens +1
New York Giants -1
New York Jets +2
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +9
Pittsburgh Steelers +3
New England Patriots pickem
don't see any of these losing, but obviously teasers always look good...

I agree on all but the Steelers. To me right now is a no play and if Barber and Ware play, I will be going Cowboys. My reasoning is Ben is horrid when teams are able to get to him. With Ware in the line-up, I see Dallas sacking him 2-4 times, but are in his face constantly. If this is the case, Dallas wins outright. Like the under!

I don't bet $ on every game, that would be f****** crazy! I DO CAP EVERY GAME, but I concentrate my funds on top plays of the week, FOR THE MOST PART. The other games on tap I bet real small, if I even bet them at all. By the way, I don't intend on betting the Lions this week, but they have to win one game this year, don't they? The last game Detroit played was 2 Thursday's ago at 12:00 in the afternoon! For some reason I think they might keep this one close, they've had plenty of time to prepare.

Pitt -3
I don't really see Dallas winning this one. < 30 degrees in Pittsburgh with Marion Barber out. I think Rothlesberger will step it up and hopefully his shitty line wont screw it up. Biggest fear in this game = Demarcus Ware

The biggest concern Pitt has is the threat of the deep ball, not Dallas's lack luster D-line. If the field condition and weather report hold up, I'll just feel even more confident about this one!

Stay away from the pitsburgh game. Why risk on a game like that when there are plenty of other ones to choose from that look much better. Take giants -6.5 (why is everyone on the eagles' jocks, they just blew out the cardinals OOOO WIII). Also, I really like the ravens because theyve been playing solid D, and are looking like a solid playoff team.
