7 Power Plays (5 Units)
Chicago Bears -6.5, I had Minnesota as a top play last Sunday, as I knew that was an extremely tough spot for the Bears. The good news is that the Bears played a solid 1st half in Minnesota and now they get to feast on the Jaguars. Has anyone else noticed how bad this team is? I never liked Jacksonville as a team and have always tried to bet against them, case in point, Houston was another one of my top plays last week as well! Jacksonville might have put forth the most pathetic effort I have ever seen. Don't expect anything better this week! win
New York Giants -7, Phily beats Arizona at home in a desperation game that the Cardinals really didn't need and now everyone's ready to jump on the eagles again, right? Not me. The Giants have played some of the best football (on both sides of the ball) that I've seen in a real long time. This weeks game is a statement game, without the jerk that is. I think the Giants are out to prove something here, the G-Men will prove to everyone that they can smash a top tier opponent without dickheads like Burress. They were part of my top play card last week and I can't leave them out this week either. GIANTS BIG! loss (ass kicking)
New York Jets -4, The Jets got caught last week and simply put, they were completely out-classed & out-coached. I took Denver at 8.5 last week because #1 that spread was way too f****** high and #2 the Jets were due for a let down. This week's spread is not too high and the Jets wont get caught here. Look for the Jets to take out their frustrations on SF. I still haven't gotten over that Buffalo game yet. The Jets will not squander the opportunities that Buffalo did last week. The Jets are nearly perfect in the red-zone this year. Hey Buffalo, YOU SUCK! loss (ass kicking)
Pittsburgh Steelers -3, I don't know about you guys but in my opinion, Dallas still looks like a soft/finesse-like team. I can not for the life of me see Dallas winning a game in Pittsburgh, "in December." I went against Pitt last week, but not this week. Pittsburgh showed me a lot last week in NE. They are a much tougher team than Dallas. win
New England Patriots -6, NE really disappointed and just out right disgusted me last week at home vs. Pittsburgh. The good thing is they're not playing Pittsburgh again this week, they're up against a team with essentially nothing to play for. Pride doesn't exist in the NFL, and I like NE by a BIG NUMBER here! loss (off by 3)
Baltimore Ravens -5, What the hell has Washington done this year to merit this spread??? A 5 point dog on the road in Baltimore is a joke. They should be getting at least +7. Can someone explain this one to me. Baltimore jumps all over Washington in this one! win
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3, I really like this game. I have already expressed my opinion of Garcia, I honestly believe he's a top QB in the league and by far the most underrated QB in the NFL. TB with Garcia is more than a formidable team. Last week's game vs. NO wasn't nearly as close as the score would have you believe. TB physically dominated NO on both sides of the ball and held Drew Brees in check, for the most part. Carolina won a big game in GB, YES THEY DID, but how many times has Carolina beat a team on the road in dramatic fashion only to come home and lose the next week??? Sometimes to crap teams too!!! Carolina is the most inconsistent team in the NFL from week to week. I absolutely love the Bucs in this spot. pending
