While your initial reaction seems logical, let's remember that you're talking about the Lions here. They haven't covered at home yet this year, and don't expect them to cover again this week. Isn't the line expected to move a couple of points, based on them 2 fatasses from Minnesota known as the Williams Wall being suspended, anyways?

I may be mistaken, but I think the over has been a great play for them at home this year....certainly has been going over the last few weeks (Last 5 games have gone over). Here are this season's games:

TN - over
TB - over
GB - over
JAX - over
CHI - may have been under, but 41 points were scored in the game
WSH - See CHI, but 42 points were scored in the game

Guess what I'm saying here is that the Lions defense has not exactly been stout at home this year, and while they were able to shut down the Vikings on the road earlier this year, it ain't happening this week. 2 freakin' interceptions for the entire year, are you kidding me? (Actually, I've seen almost every game this year - this team is that bad)

I would lay 9.5 on my local high school state champs over the lions! They not only will break history this year with an 0-16 record, but my guess is they will not even cover another spread!
