Default Jeff Fisher what a jerk

He challenges a 20-yard completion up 47-10 with 3:30 left, then mocks the fans when they boo. What a prick. And ass-kissers Simms and Nance say nothing.

If that were Belichick, everyone would be screaming.

Yeah, I totally agree. I saw that and thought that was pretty classless. The game is basically over. There is no need to throw the flag or upset the fans.

I think Belichick is the ultimate prick.

If he were to go hunting, he would kill the buck and then take his shotgun and shoot the buck in the face after it was dead. Then he'd do it three more times.

But, hey, that's what winners in the NFL do.

He's got NOTHING on some of the coaches in college who go for "style points".

cough cough Stoops ..... only dude I've ever seen go for a TD with less than a minute to go and already up something like 70-10 in the 4Q.

I really don't think Belichick would do what Fisher did on that challenge. I think that's worse than scoring late.

And the college coach line is right on as well. Too many pricks running up scores and not taken to task.

You got a good point, laxdjock. Anything to "pad the stats" for a Heisman candidate or "impress" the voters for the polls.

Well if you think it was incomplete, why are you handing out freebies, it takes 2 seconds to go look at the replay and come back. It's unnecessary yes, but definitely not THAT bad.

Speaking of CFB, in the next 10 years have to think we'll see a playoff system.

I think that would bump CFB up another level... ****ing playoffs for college. That'd be great!

If Obama can do the following 2 things, I think I'd be pretty happy about his presidency:

    1. Loosen gambling laws
    2. Get a CFB playoff system

Can you imagine a CFB championship game? I mean a real one?

It'd be like a mini-Superbowl... with college fanfare. That'd be great.

Plus you'd prolly have 8 teams in the playoffs over 3 wks ... building up.

It will happen eventually... and it's going to be a new big event in sports.

At least college coaches have a reason for running up scores (for the computers, voters, whatever) no reason to act like that in the NFL.

I dont think its the college coachs fault its the bcs system. If you dont destroy a team your supposed to you dont get votes.

If you think about it, a playoff system would pose the same problem the BCS does. Those teams that get left out of the 8 playoff spots would still cry about it. Sure, you get to find out who is the best out of those 8 chosen teams, but what about that 9th or 10th team that get left out?
