Default What does money line mean?

If I gamble on soccer it tells me (3 way) result but if I look at basketball I says money line. What does this mean?

Did you mean Baseball? Although, you can make moneyline wasgers as well in other sports including basketball.

    Money Line

Betting on baseball is done by risking more money than the win amount on favorites (Mets) or risking less to win more on dogs or underdogs (teams not favored to win).
    Example:Mets - 140Reds + 120
    • If you wager on the Mets -140 you lay $140 to win $100. If you wager on the Reds +120 you lay $100 to win $120.

To pick the winning team in this example. The favorite is listed with "-" and underdog is listed with "+".

If a game has the following money-line lines:
    Team ABC -120
    Team LMN +100.

    It would mean the following:
to win $100 from/on Team ABC, your wager would be $120/$100
to win $100 from/on Team LMN, your wager would be $100/$100.

I think hes asking about a "3way" bet as is often offered in soccer. instead of your standard ML bet where you can have two possible outcomes win/loss (or a push, i.e. no action), a "3 way bet" has 3 possible outcomes win/loss/draw (only on a draw in this case you loose instead of pushing). So you get better odds for taking a side because there is no push on a draw, and likewise you can also bet the game to end in a draw.

This type of bet does not apply to a lot of other mainstream sports (or anything in which a winner must be decided - such as in the playoffs). Soccer has aggregate scoring sometimes as well so this 3way wager is often used or available.

    Hope this helps

3-Way can be done on N.H.L. as well but is for regulation only.
